U.S. Rep. Anthony Weiner (D-NY) has canceled his speaking appearance at the state Democratic Convention on Friday night in Milwaukee.
Graeme Zielinski, party spokesman, confirmed the cancellation and said the decision was Weiner's, and that the party's invitation to him was still good.
"It's understandable, considering what's going on," Zielinski added.
Weiner, an outspoken liberal voice in Congress, has been in the midst of a controversy over a photo of a male crotch in underpants sent to a female Twitter follower of his.
Weiner has denied sending the photo and says his Twitter account was hacked, but he has not denied the photo might be of him. The story has occupied much of the political world for the past few days.
Weiner was to be one of the main speakers at the convention, which starts today at the Frontier Airlines Center. Another main speaker: Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-Fla.), chair of the Democratic National Committee.
Zielinski said Weiner "opted to stay in New York . .. with his family," and added, "We're looking forward to a visit in the future" from Weiner.

I don’t think any of this has been sufficiently explored.
If Weiner didn’t take this PORN photo of himself to send over the internet, then for what purpose did he take it?
Is this PORN photo something he uses in private, to enhance some perverted sexual fantasy/experience? If so, then it would seem that Weiner likes to look at wieners and he even get’s sexually excited by looking at his own. Therefore, he is attracted to male genitalia.
If there was an investigation, what other PORN wiener shots might be found? Might he have a collection of PORN photos of other guy’s Junk?
I’m thinking that poor Weiner is now going to need Viagra, but that could prove life threatening.... I mean, who’s he going to call after 4 hours?

From what I understand, devices like this store meta-data inside the image file itself (time, date, which device took the photo, GPS DATA [~!!!!] etc. etc. etc )
Maybe this has some data inside it that can be compared to other photos that are known to come from him
I think he knows that- which is why he is not denying it was his photo. because if it came from his device, and it was NOT Wiener’s wiener ... then that's a whole new ballgame, folks..
Is there a pool yet for when he resigns? someone needs to keep it in his face that (R) Chris Lee had to resign FOR JUST TAKING OFF HIS SHIRT in a photo he posted on-line on Craigslist.
It's the sheer stupidity more than anything else that makes it necessary for him to resign.
Not only is it conduct unbecoming of Congress, but he is too stupid to be be part of the government running the country.

O'Neill wrote a book about John Kerry, and O'Donnell completely blocked a TV interview with O'Neill. O'Donnell spent about five minutes shouting "You Liar!!" and the TV host allowed that to go on and on and on and on.
O'Neill stayed very calm, but was not able to get his message out very well that day.
On this, you and I are of like minds.
