"Pennsylvania Republican Party Chairman Rob Gleason voiced a common exasperation about Palin’s tour: “I don’t think theater wins elections.”

Really? Someone should ask old Robby G. "How about performing "GOP Schism Kabuki" for the press? Think that wins elections?"

How about doing an impromptu gala of the "Sour Grapes Shuffle" for the microphones and cameras, and aiming it at your most popular, most qualified, most capable of beating O'Bungsuck candidate?

Is that your ides of a 'winning strategy?' Pukey?

These guy see the handwriting on the wall. If they actually thought Sarah was not going to throw her hat into the ring, they wouldn't be doing everything in their power, day in and day out, to discourage her.

LMAO!!!! When both the DNC and RNC are whining non-stop like little snivel-bitches about you, you gotta be doing something right!

GO, Sarah, GO!!!

“Palin... probably has more hardcore support than any other candidate... But she needs to show that she can go beyond that..."

LOL!!!! yeah, just having the most hardcore voter support will never win...

WHAT ARE THESE PUCKER-SUCKS SMOKING??!!!

This has gone "Salvadore Dali," my FRiends. We have entered the Twilight Zone. Fallen down the rabbit hole.

Sarah Palin's bus tour leaves GOP cold

Damn. And they're such stalwarts for conservatism too. And look at the way they supported her as Juan "Lettuce" McShame's running mate. What ingratitude on her part.

While Palin has reveled in giving an extended one-fingered salute to the national press, refusing to give out details about her travel schedule and forcing reporters to literally chase her vehicle up I-95 in order to cover her

So they have a right to follow her around and cover her whether she wants it or not, and it's her DUTY to make it convenient for them. Right......

“But she needs to show that she can go beyond that, and this tour doesn’t accomplish that,” said King, who is urging Rudy Giuliani to enter the 2012 race.

I agree. More cross-dressing RINO's is what this race needs!

I like Palin but if she is not going to run for president it might be wise for her to step out of the spotlight a little once her bus tour is over. Her front and center presence casts a wide shadow which in the end only benefits establishment candidates like Romney and Rudy.

Clearly you are informed by opinion makers, not by personal experience and your own direct research. The TP cannot be categorized as MM vs TEA. Each organization is independent, operating according to their own lights. They are unified by being vigorously pro Palin and stand ready to organize the nation on behalf of her candidacy.

She doesn’t need to meet with the kind of “activists” who are excited in all 50 states, awaiting her announcement. We don’t want our egos stroked. We just want a leader who helps us bring our country back. Bob

She’s running. She can’t announce yet, as has been explained recently here. After July 26, all beta are off. I will be stunned if she turns out to be a leader who only wants to cheer lead. No sense whatsoever. Bob

“Running for president is a very serious thing and you need to deal with it as such,” Gleason said. “I’m looking for party builders.”

Oh, he is looking for party builders. Well, what was 2010 all about? Who was it that fired the engine that elected more GOP legislative members and governors in history? What was all of Sarah's hard work promoting the Republican party, chopped liver? These people have their head in the sand.

The answer to your question is, "what are the other candidates doing now?" They are building these organizations.

Bush in 2000, which was an incredible campaign BTW because he ran against a non-unpopular VP of a popular pres, started in mid-1999 meeting every GOP governor (a couple, OH and FL, came in real handy) and setting up the Bush organization.

Sure, there is time to do this, but why duplicate effort---it wouldn't have taken anything to meet with a local official or two.

LS, Sarah has been building her organization since 2008. As we speak groups are organizing state by state for her. SarahPac has been one of the most successful Pacs bar none. Is it possible you don’t understand that she actually iS the PEOPLE’S candidate? She doesn’t have to “court” the very republican “leaders” who have continuously dissed her. When the time comes, they will be trying to beg, borrow, or steal their way into her good graces. Karma is sweet.

We'll see. I have yet to see anyone involved in a Palin "organization" in Ohio. None. You would think that there would be some sort of "show the flag" person at Tea Parties---but I haven't seen any. No one circulating petitions to sign people up.

Contrary to the dream world, in the real world organization requires work and is a skill. That's why so many business schools emphasize corporate organization. (It's also, by the way, why so many "multi-level-marketing schemes are so darned successful). SarahPac is NOT a boots on the ground, phone bank organization. But I guess we'll all see soon enough.

They got their head somewhere, but I'm pretty sure it's not sand.

Speak for yourself, not for me. I have given about $200 to Sarah’s PAC, and about $100 to her legal defense fund, so I don’t need to be told by someone who knows damn little about me how I would vote. Clown.

This country is in a pretty big fix the like of which we’ve never seen before. We can’t answer the challenges with the “same ‘ol same old” stuff from the same old Republicans.

Thanks to Bristol, the younger voters know who Sarah Palin is. Thanks to Bristol, all those who’ve made questionable choices feel Palin may understand them.

Thanks to Palin, people now know that not all Republicans are old dinosaurs who don’t even know how to use email.

We’ve got to keep proving to younger voters that we are more than a group of wrinkled old disabled veterans who have no clue what our lives are about. (And before anybody flames me on that, let me state I have a disability.)

It’s two years to the date that Sarah resigned as governor. The statute of limitations on those frivolous lawsuits is two years in AK. On July 26, she’ll know what she’s dealing with, and can make a better determination whether to run. Bob
