Objections fly with rainbow flag
President Obama has declared June "Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Pride Month" -- and to the dismay of a pro-family group based in Richmond, Virginia, the Federal Reserve Bank is joining in the celebration.
Though The Family Foundation's new office in Richmond has a beautiful view of the state capitol and the flags, the rainbow flag fluttering above the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond is also in view. Foundation president Victoria Cobb does not expect it to fly away any time soon.
"Our expectation is it'll be flying all month," she predicts. "We think the Federal Reserve ought to be focused on the economy rather than focusing on special rights."
The Federal Reserve is a private operation and is not government run, but Cobb points out that it is simply following the nation's leadership in promoting a lifestyle that involves less than two percent of the population.
Meanwhile, the Mississippi-based American Family Association has received a complaint from a Federal Reserve employee who objects to the flag and what it represents. In reference to the "gay pride" flag flying just below the American flag, the employee wrote in an email: "For the past five or six years, the homosexual agenda has been pushed down our throats. [The bank president and vice president] have initiated this agenda. This offends me as a Christian."

Can we write a letter to that particular institution and demand that the flag for proud thieves be flown for a month? Or maybe the Adulterer Pride flag (what would that look like? - maybe a photo of Bill Clinton or maybe John Edwards?).

This makes me laugh. Only that perverse group of morons would consider a flag flying over the Federal Reserve to be an enormously important moral victory over decency and morality.

I wonder what would happen to 1) someone who burns the US flag in front of this building of cretins, and 2) someone who burns the gay flag in front of this building of cretins?
What yard stick is used to determine how and whether any human condition or behavior is considered to be outside of normal? If one checks the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, one would see that any human condition or behavior which falls at or below approximately three percent of the population is considered as abnormal. But, the APA, in 1973, removed Homosexuality from the DSM - for political reasons, not reasons related to psychiatric diagnosis.
Thing is - why is homosexuality picked out and put on a pedestal as some special poster-child for special treatment/extra rights/special protection?
It isn’t homosexuality itself that is under attack - it is the “normalization” of it via destroying the core family.
Mark my words - the promotion of homosexuality as “normal” has nothing to do with promoting “equal rights” or fighting the “denial of people’s love”... it is all another useful weapon to destroy the very moral fabric of this nation. Just as “climate change” has nothing to do with protecting the earth - it has everything to do with systematic control of our lives and the economy of this nation. But there are so many useful idiots/sheeple who have been indoctrinated by government schools and radical-run media who will fall in lock-step (or would that be goose step?) to whatever agenda is convenient at the time.
And to answer your question about the APA - there is a higher representation within the APA of practicing homosexuals - and even more telling (to me) is that many who are in the APA are also practicing Atheists or agnostics. A common “spirituality” practiced within members of the APA is that of easter mysticism (as in - the Oprah-cult). So their agenda isn’t surprising.
My oh my how far we have fallen as a nation - from the early US Congress funding the printing of the Bible for use in classrooms (as in - PUBLIC SCHOOLS) - not to mention the early textbooks that used Bible verses for spelling and grammar lessons; to a nation that government organizations actively promote open immorality, the giving of “rights” to special groups, and where God has been kicked out of the public square... starting with the schools (imagine that).
I actually didn’t ask any questions regarding the APA. I was offering an answer for why Homosexuality has become “protected” by these degenerates. As a practicing psychologist, I’m appalled by the hiearchy within the APA and other organizations which exist within the field.
It is not the “Rainbow flag” ... it is the “Celebrate Perversity” flag.
What is wrong with the people who are in charge of the top financial entity in the country that they get involved in this? They are not objective in this regard. Watch them.

This is kinda like the male earing, at first it designated queer’s and then since lot of males(?) worn the earings, it was no longer a fag statment.
Yesterday afternoon I drove by and saw it and had to do a double-take. It was a real “what the hell” moment for me.
Sailors have been wearing earrings since there were wooden ships and iron men. My 88 year old dad is a old salt and he’s got both ears pierced. If he heard your lubberly bullshit he’d probably ask if you wanted an ass kicking...
I sometimes think that the tea party or some other conservative group should use a rainbow on their flag too, as a means of taking the image back from the depths of perversity. Then people won’t be sure what they are looking at and it may just become a rainbow again someday.
Political parties stay in power through loyal constituents, i.e. homosexual agenda, racial and religious groups, etc.. They know that they will get a vote from at least the vast majority of a group with few exceptions, hence why they boast about their position. Oh yeah, and they also feel confident, that they have secured enough of a lasting victory to have license to not worry about said positions.
Mark my words - the promotion of homosexuality as “normal” has nothing to do with promoting “equal rights” or fighting the “denial of people’s love”... it is all another useful weapon to destroy the very moral fabric of this nation.
It is advancing the self-serving interests of some people at the expense of others. That is the core problem of the whole matter. I am willing to believe that plenty of people are being unwilling to believe or acknowledge that costs are being stacked on the remainder of society as well.
My flag goes up tommorow, and I wouldn’t have an earing in my ear on a bet!
