Palin didn't answer when asked how long she's owned the bus that's adorned with the Constitution and a larger-than-life version of her signature. When asked, twice, how much her "One Nation Tour" has cost four days into the trip, she got visibly irritated.

"Check SarahPAC.com," she said. "I don't know why in the world you would ask a question like that. I'm just thinking about America and our foundations and our freedoms and our opportunities. Why would you ask something ..."

ABC News pointed out that she often talks about the economy and how much money we're spending.

"What does our economy have to do with how much we're -- I'm not asking you to pay for a penny of this trip," she said.

Cue the national anthem: the conversation was cut short when a group of school children visiting the monument launched into "The Star Spangled Banner."

SaraPAC.com does not currently offer any information about how much money has been spent on the tour. It does, however, feature a big green "Donate" button, inviting visitors to help fund Palin's trip across the nation.

Most of the posts here are cheerleading, trying to justify Sarah’s answers or providing what the poster thinks would have been a good answer. And she hasn’t even declared officially, she’s just taking a road trip. It’s going to be a long campaign. Questions about the legitimacy of spending, both government and personal, have to be fielded by politicians constantly.....

Well said. Instead of the cheerleading it would be nice to read something relative to the use of PAC funds. No doubt if Sarah is using the funds inappropriately someone will file a complaint. Heck even if she is not miss using PAC funds someone will file a complaint. It would be nice for those of us who are tired of the lies to have factual info to rely on. I do hope Sarah has all her "i's and t's" dotted.

Don't policitians use their PAC money for personal use all the time, as long as it has some political purpose? In Sarah's case, her family is visiting National monuments and areas pertinent to American history, and calling national attention to how we've moved from what the Founding Fathers envisioned for this country.

The money in SarahPAC wasn't left over from the previous election, it's money that has been donated SINCE then. It's not subject, as far as I know to FEC rules regarding money spent on elections. Hillary used her PAC money for years after her election, and I haven't heard of anyone going after her for it.

Of course, that doesn't mean they won't TRY to beat Sarah up over it.
