I really don't believe this.
Consumer confidence can't fall. It is already on the very bottom, with no where to go but up^

Dude, if "Unexpected" was the key word in a drinking game-- reading the AP would make anyone a drunkard.
State Run AP-- so pathetic.

That is too funny. If I didn’t read FR, I wouldn’t notice how the MSM beats the word “unexpected” to death in their efforts to protect Obama.
As an aside, some seniors may not be so inclined to vote Obama again. (This is good news to me.) It turns out the government not using food and gas to index inflation is causing real problems for those retired on SSI. No cost of living bump because there is no inflation. Not only that, senior’s contributions to their healthcare increased due to Obamacare.
Elections have conseqences.

I unexpected this!
If you will allow I would like to extend your idea a bit. How about this headline, "Consumer Confidence exceeded unexpectations".

Inigo Montoya to the media: You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.

“Unexpected”!!! The word used ten million times to tell us what a failure both POTUS Obama and the Mainstream Media are. The media buffoons have just got to be smoking reefer!!! Media, your Jeremiah Wright Idol Obama is going down to defeat big time in 2012!!! And......unless you broom him quickly, you will be going down with him!!!

I think we’re on to something.

In other news, Obama’s dead “Bin Laden” bounce seems to be winding down. From the immediate aftermath of Bin Ladens death until the end of last week, he was running +10 in the realclearpolitics.com average of polls. This morning he is down to +5.8% in the average and -3% in Rassmussen. I'm guessing by the end of June he will be back into the solid negatives where he was before Bin Laden. There is only so much unemployment, bad economic numbers and inept leadership that Bin Ladens blood can cover.
