US Rep. Anthony Weiner yesterday spent the day on the grill after a lewd photo purporting to be of him was sent to a pretty Seattle coed from his Twitter account -- but the young woman insisted a stalker was the culprit.

Some DC wonks were skeptical of Weiner's hacking story and questioned the lack of a police report about a crime as serious as Internet identity theft, a Washington insider said.
The uncertainty was also fed by Weiner's decision to quickly delete the posted photo -- and every other photo connected to the account.

Well Bill Clinton said he was just trying to mentor Monika when she was 21, so I would imagine that Weiner, being a fellow democrat, was just trying to mentor the 21 year old girl.

Weiner must be panicky at the thought of the FBI going through all his computers.

I think Congressman Boehner should ask the FBI to investigate, so that this hacker doesn’t attack more of our elected officials. It’s the right thing to do, since it appears Congressman Weiner is probably too distraught to make the request. The Speaker of the House needs to reach across the aisle to help this member of the loyal opposition at this time of turmoil.

He most likely wanted to send it to his special young lady friend, but hit “send all” or “reply all” if it was a reply to his lady friend. But then we all knew he was a jirk.
Does it seem strange for a married congresscritter in his 40s to engage in raunchy Internet exchanges with young women half his age? Well, not if you're Weiner. After all, his current wife is reputed to be HRC's former lesbian lover.
Will this cost him an opportunity to become NYC mayor, a job he apparently sees as his ultimate dream? Probably not, since it's New York after all.
Unfortunately, no. Not at all. For every 1 that is caught who knows how many who are not.
But this seems to show he's not a swish. Perhaps this is a deliberate attempt to do just that.

I also would like to require a 250 mile exclusion zone from the District of Colombia for their “sit out” period so they experience America after they have “improved it”! . But that probably would not be reasonable. I can dream can't I?
