A chemistry teacher is accused of helping her teenage students get high.
Police Sergeant Ray Fong says 34-year-old Livingston High School teacher Japhia Huhndorf, helped three male students, ages 16, 17, and 18, as they ingested the powerful chemical chloroform.
Livingston is about 15 miles south of Modesto.
She either showed them how to do it or she poured it on a cloth for them to inhale, Sgt. Fong says.
In an exclusive interview, one of the victims admitted the allegations were true to FOX40.
She (Huhndorf) knew about it, but she wasnt encouraging us to get high it was just to ease the stress, says the teenage victim who didnt want to be identified.
The alleged abuse began two months ago in Huhndorfs classroom, during what were supposed to be after-school tutoring sessions. The victim also claims the popular chemistry teacher, who is crowned Most Spirited Teacher in the schools yearbook, would inhale the drug with them.
One student is said to have passed-out after using chloroform with the teacher. Investigators say Huhndorf ordered the drug from a company through the school but was not using it for her curriculum. She was taken into custody Monday morning but is now out on bail.
She was a cool teacher
I cant believe this...she wouldnt do this, says one of Huhndorfs students. She faces three counts of felony child endangerment.
Your post reminds me that the 4th season of Breaking Bad starts in July.
Toluene provides a much better buzz.
I thought chloroform only put you out. I didn’t know it made you high, or is that just BS so they can charge her with a crime. Saying she helped them get high instead of showing them the properties of a well known anesthetic helps the public to fall into line with any charges they make.
Do you know why chloroform isn’t commonly used any more? Cause its easy to kill people with it.
GUILTY !!!
lol
Pervert ping alert...
GUILTY.....
We the jury find the defendant guilty your honor and recommend a sentence of life without the possibility of parole and a cellmate with cut off sleeves, blue jeans who goes by the name of “Mack”.
Why order when it is easily produced in the home? Silly chemistry teachers. What a dummie though, it is extremely easy to die from chloroform.
Guilty as Ahhnold.

Yes I realize that but getting high off of it?
Hey, I think I found a new one! Have you seen one like this before?
Ah, memories. A chem teacher in my high school, back in the 70s, was notorious for getting stoned with the kids.
