AP Exclusive: Former Palin aide pens tell-all

1 JUNEAU, Alaska – A former member of Sarah Palin's inner circle has written a scathing tell-all, saying Palin was ready to quit as governor months before she actually resigned and was eager to leave office when more lucrative opportunities came around.

2 "In 2009 I had the sense if she made it to the White House and I had stayed silent, I could never forgive myself," Frank Bailey told The Associated Press.

3 Palin's attorney did not respond to multiple requests for comment for this story. \

4 "Blind Allegiance to Sarah Palin: A Memoir of Our Tumultuous Years" is due out Tuesday and based on tens of thousands of emails that Bailey said he kept during his time with Palin. It began with working on her 2006 gubernatorial campaign and continued through her failed run for vice president;.......

Maybe you don't really have any friends other than a few clones of you on FR.

I don't know if it's true of these posters, but within the last week or two a troll got fed up and asked Jim for the ZOT, naming two or three other names that they posted under.

Multiple lightning strikes.

Cheers!

Your're tipping your hand.

You fail to realize Sarah is three or four moves ahead of you by now.

Cheers!

Another yawner. I didn’t bother to read the article. There’s no there, there, or here. Just another jerkwad trying to make money off her name.

Ah, that word "concerned"...it triggers a memory in me.

Could it be "Concern Trolls?"

No, I'm sure that's not it...

It's why I don't take you folks seriously anymore.

"You folks," eh?

I’ve got to say, having a Freeper write admiringly of the Clinton legal defense fund is good for comic relief. If not much else.

In the minds of the LameSreamMedia and the sheeple they keep in line, it’s the severity of the charge that counts, not the truth or accuracy of it. And that media depends on that axiom working.

Just forward that to Joe "next door" McGinniss and to Frank "shed his family, his wife and two kids, to singularly focus on Palin" Bailey, would you, please?

And no, you CAN'T show up on Track's honeymoon, either...

Cheers!

If you notice, there are thousands of freepers yet if one were to tally all those here who fall into the palin-acolyte group it would be but a fraction of that total number.

Here's a hint for you...click on my FR profile and scroll down to the bottom. Those are the screen names of each and every FReeper who has gone out of his or her way and ASKED to join the FR Palin Ping list so that they can track stories about her every day. That's a little bit more than a fraction, and it surely outnumbers your paltry gaggle of PDS'ers.

And don't forget that the boss himself is in Sarah's corner too.

So where does that leave YOU on this board?

Palin could have easily done the same thing but did not even try.

Outright lie by a known PDS troll.

Ethics Probe: Palin Legal Defense Fund Illegal

BTW, here's the usual Psycho-Freep disclaimer that he always forgets to post:

"Just for the record, I happen to be one of those “Blood Sucking Takers who helped pioneer the Prudhoe Bay Oilfield for Atlantic Richfield and Sohio...Palin’s ignorant, punitive and Populist attack on that established effort, nearly put a halt to everything good we worked so hard to create."

Sorry to burst your bubble but...

A) Insults from anonymous internet posters have no impact on me at all. For all I know you're posting in your pajamas from your sister's computer while she's at work because you can't afford your own place or machine. That's probably not the case but it could be and since I have no way of knowing, why should I give a tinker's dam what you think?

B) I have no clones.

Bullshit.

She covered the resignation in Going Rogue as "The Thumping".

And the written word is what people will quote her by: a book has more credence than a speech, as people realize a political situation such as a resignation is a volatile time, and you might be more guarded right when it's happening than later.

______________________________________

Bullshit yourself.

The book was written months ex post facto and is, as are all such works, a re-writing or spinning explanation.

I do find it telling that you are actually making an argument that Palin might not have really meant that which she said in the speech that she set-up (not some trivial, impromptu remark)and wanted to modify her story later.

And, since she gave her "lame-duck" excuse to BOR well after the book why did she use that story instead of the one you want to believe? Did she forget what she wrote?

But, you are on to something...her history is full of these "what I really meant was..." moments.

It's not a "what I really meant" moment; that's not Sarah.

It's "OK, now that I survived the artillery barrage, let me tell you what the enemy was doing."

THINK, cretin. What would Obaama's flying monkeys (and the press, but I repeat myself) have done if she announced during the resignation speech that she was stepping down due to the lawsuits, and planned to write a book about them?

Face it, you're just pissed that she outmaneuvered you AGAIN.

Cheers!

You cared enough to respond and to personally denigrate the other poster.

And since your *FIRST* response was "posting in your pajamas from your sister's machine" it makes it sound like that's the world you yourself are most familiar with.

Make sure you don't spill her Crystal Light lemonade on the keyboard, and don't delete her Twitter session with this week's boyfriend.

(Keep it up, itsahoot; you've got him (her? them?) riled.)

Cheers!

So if you don’t think Palin should be our nominee, who do you think would be a better candidate for us?

PDS...one of the most ridiculous terms used on this forum. I have nothing against Sarah Palin. I just don’t plan to vote for her because I don’t think she’s qualified to be President. I do, however, have plenty of complaints against her supportes on FR, most of them can be obnoxious as hell...especially on threads about any other potential GOP candidate.

Yah, just let me make sure your check from Karl Rove has cleared.

Nope. You're screwed.

If it were just your opinion, you wouldn't be so eager to touch yourself whenever you proclaimed that "no conservative you know is voting for her."

Pauline Kael much?

That's funny. I notice mostly PDS trolls infesting her threads; when Palin's fans are on other threads, they generally are not threads for other candidates; and the Palin fans don't spam the same discredited talking points over and Over and OVERTM...

Cheers!
