US President Barack Obama radically changed US foreign policy when he called Thursday for a "full and phased withdraw of Israeli forces" from "occupied Palestinian lands."
Obama's comments came during Obama's much anticipated policy address at the State Department in which he outlined the United State's new foreign policy for the Middle East and North Africa in light of the "spring revolutions" that have rocked the region.
Saying the world was tired of "nothing but stalemate" in the Arab-Israeli conflict, and complaining that "settlement activity continues" while the "Palestinians have walked away from talks," Obama said Israelis cannot obtain the dream of a democratic and Jewish state through "occupation."
Obama called for "two states for two peoples" with permanent borders based on the "1967 lines with agreed upon swaps." The borders referred to as "1967 lines" are in fact the lines agreed upon in the 1949...

Jewish, born in Lithuania, brought to the USA in 1913, fiercely proud to be an American. Raised his children to be proud Americans. Saw his sons don the uniform of the USA with pride. Many trips to Israel, again fiercely proud of what was built by the survivors of the Holocaust. Died in 1977 at age 69.
This day, his oldest child, a son, ME, must with a sense of grief tell a long missed Dad, “Dad, I am glad that you did not live to see a president of the United States proudly put our country at the side of our enemies.”

Rough calculations would indicate 5 million idiots.
That said, I would hope that American Jews, and more broadly, Americans in general, would reject Obama based on how his policies are harming the United States, as opposed to ANY particular foreign country.
He does tend to bring out the base reaction in those capable of independent thought.

well, this could have been much worse. They aren’t going back to ‘67 borders without Palestinian right of return, and O wouldn’t even touch that. So....while his stance was appalling, and empowers the Arab world with his words, it still left everything stagnating. What a dumb, simple, but confusing speech. Obama has been warming up to this for some time. His clear distaste for Israel and his infamous snubbing of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu all pointed to Obama’s attitude that Israel is an ‘occupier’ of Palestinian land. This is nonsense but it dovetails perfectly with the Arab and leftist, anti-Israel point of view. Now, comes the backlash. Israel will not commit a form of national suicide to please the Marxist in the White House, whatever that may cost in U.S. financial aid and ‘good will’. Neither mean much if tiny Israel is overrun by murderous Muslims that have been trying to get rid of the Jews in their neighborhood for over 60 years.
Israel should take a page out of the Photoshopper-in-Chief’s playbook and immediately Photoshop the 1967 map of the middle east and claim all of Jordan, Lebanon, and Syria as their own.
