WASHINGTON – President Barack Obama is endorsing the Palestinians' demand for their future state to be based on the borders that existed before the 1967 Middle East war, in a move that will likely infuriate Israel. Israel says the borders of a Palestinian state have to be determined through negotiations.

Its like this, most of my family immigrated to America from Israel in the late 60s..most vote Republican, my uncle’s children however are all liberal(They were born here) I remember before the election I was at my aunt’s birthday party and we were discussing the upcoming election with my cousin(Who said he is a proud liberal) I asked him “Don’t you care that Obama doesn’t support Israel?” and he said “Israel is not my problem” my uncle(His father) was shocked when he heard that..considering he had been to Israel a few times already and his own cousin lived there while missiles were being thrown at their house. that is the difference between those who were born in Israel and those who were born here. I was born here and I fully 100000 percent support Israel, don’t know why others who were born here throw Israel under the bus

Since at least 1916, American Jews have voted in huge majorities, up to 9 in 10, for Democrats. The only time they deviate is when a Socialist or Progressive is on the ballot. That's nearly 100 years of Democrat loyalty and you expect it'll "correct itself" in another generation?

The only Republican get make inroads was Reagan vs Carter and he got less than 4 in 10.

Evangelicals, more than American Jews, care about Israel. This won't erode Obama's support from 2008.

In a stroke Obama has just made war in the Middle East more likely.

The Arab world, reinvigorated by a misnamed "Arab Spring" will now reasonably believe that the United States will abandon its ally and the temptation to wage war against Israel will be very difficult for those few leaders who might be so inclined to resist. For example, the administration of Jordan is a relatively benign autocracy but one which had fashioned a modus vivendi with Israel despite the fact that many refugees in Jordan, Palestinians, ceaselessly agitate for an aggressive foreign policy against Israel. It will be very difficult for the Hashemite kingdom to resist those pressures now.

One could hardly expect Damascus to have the disposition to resist the temptation. God knows what will emerge in Egypt and with Iran soon to have the bomb, the whole situation could rapidly go nuclear. Obama has steadfastly refused to ally America's prestige and diplomatic weight against Iran obtaining the bomb. There was never any question that he would threaten, much less actually use, military force to prevent Iran getting the bomb.

Between Obama's pusillanimous stand against Iran, his missteps in Libya, Egypt, Syria, and Yemen, there is absolutely nothing to convince the Arab street that the time to strike is not near. Today's inexplicable folly accelerates the dénouement.

I said before this man took office, and I preached this to my German neighbors only to be scornfully dismissed, that there would come a time when they would fall on their knees and beseech almighty God for the return of George Bush.

That day just drew nearer.
