When he first started (okay, restarted) talking about Newt a few days ago, I tried to get through to ask whether Rush thought Newt ever really believed in anything. Somehow the guy who rode in on a white horse in Jan 1995 and never misspoke about anything is issuing corrections hourly now.

I thought Rush almost answered my question yesterday when he spent the whole first hour on Newt. It wasn't pretty.

But now he's going to have him on for a half-hour or more?

So now I wonder: Does Rush believe in anything? I wondered about this too when he effectively said that Obama put the Birth Certificate issue to rest. Surely Rush knows this latest BC is obviously bogus. What's going on?

Oh, I’m glad Rush is having Newt on. It should be interesting. I don’t expect Rush to grill Newt in a hostile manner. That’s not his style toward guests.
