No anonymity in France for Strauss-Kahn's accuser
Name of NYC hotel maid who says IMF chief attacked her is published in Paris
msnbc.com staff and news service reports
updated 5/17/2011 9:06:18 PM ET

The hotel maid who accuses International Monetary Fund chief Dominique Strauss-Kahn of trying to rape her is a 32-year-old immigrant from Guinea who told her brother, "somebody has done something really bad to me," according to media reports.

Her identity has been withheld in U.S. media publications, in accordance with standard journalistic practice. But media outlets in France, where Strauss-Kahn is from, began reporting her name Tuesday.

Among the outlets to identify the woman by name are Paris Match, radio station RMC, Swiss newspaper Tribune de Genève and Slate.fr, according to Slate.com. (Slate.fr is a French website that is editorially independent from Slate, although Slate does own 15 percent of it.)

Slate.fr, citing relatives of the accuser, reports that the woman is a legal immigrant from the west African nation of Guinea and is of the Fulani ethnic group. She is a Muslim who has been living in the U.S. since 1998, when she followed her then-husband to the United States. The pair later divorced, according to the report, and the woman is now a single parent of a 15-year-old daughter.

"She is a good Muslim. She is really pretty, like many Fulani women, but in our culture, we do not accept this type of aggression," a cousin of the woman told slate.fr.

If she is a muslim then why did they arrest the perp? And shouldn’t she be stoned?

And no, I did not write Obama’s college papers.

Paper Reveals Strauss-Kahn Accuser’s Possible HIV Status

Anna North—In a disturbing new development, media sources have come perilously close to revealing the address — and HIV status — of Dominique Strauss-Kahn’s accuser. And some say DSK himself is now on suicide watch.

This morning, the New York Post reported that the hotel maid who has accused Strauss-Kahn of sexual assault lives with her daughter in an apartment building set aside exclusively for adults with HIV/AIDS. Because of medical confidentiality law, the Post can’t confirm whether she’s actually HIV-positive, but they did reveal that the agency that rented to her requires that “at least one adult in the household has to be HIV-positive or have AIDS to qualify for one of their units.” They also gave details about her apartment that would make it pretty easy to find.

Update: On the Today show, the alleged victim’s lawyer denied that she was living in a house for people with HIV, and said that she resided in “a sublet apartment.”

He has a deal with Air France to board any flight, anytime.

I've heard it called the Rape'n'Run. Bubba *Squirt knows it as the Score'n'Scram. No problem - it's all about who you know - or who you can do.

Just because you are a legal immigrant, you don’t get to vote. Naturalized citizens get to vote.

He absconded so fast-—he left his belongings at the hotel. Even his cell phone.

That’s how they caught him....he wanted the cell phone.

L/E orchestrated a sting——when they went to deliver it, they nabbed him.

Well, rape is normally about power and control. It just surprises me that he would lunge at her immediately after she walked in. It sounds insane. I’m usually the first to want justice served on those perps, but this story is really nuts. If he did this, he deserves what he gets. But, society is in a true state of ‘hate the rich, wealthy bankers or rich corporate executive’. Based on his title alone, many want to condemn first and ask questions later. It’s hard to say if it was consensual or forced. And we may never find out the truth. History has shown us that the verdict of a trial does not always reflect the truth, and that is a shame.

Apparently he has several phones, so although it is irresponsible (considering his position), it may have been overlooked easier than if he carried only one.

This woman, and probably her family, don't appear to be extremist or particularly devout. After all, she moved to the U.S. and divorced her husband.

I'm not a particular fan of the religion, but I have had some muslim neighbors, and the women, in general, have been very nice and somewhat westernized, for the most part. The men have tended to be significantly less friendly.

Right now, this just seems like it might be a pretty nice, hard-working woman who was raped. I'm not really sure why her being a muslim should have much to do with that.

Holly, being a legal resident of the US or a legal immigrant, does not give one the right to vote. That comes after one is naturalized as a citizen, and is properly registered.

The fact that illegal aliens, and even legal aliens, with driver's licenses are allowed to be registered to vote is against the law. (Motor Voter)

This is a common vote fraud in every state of the union and may represent MILLIONS of illegal votes nationwide, perhaps as many as 600,000 in CA alone! No one know exact numbers.

Psst. Tell an elected Republican.

(Yet to account for - when he scored his 'quick exit' airplane ticket.)

Short answer: He's a Lord of the Instrumentality

Longer answer: It was a standing ticket. He shows up at the airport, AirFrance puts him on the first flight to wherever he wants to go, even if they have to bump another first-class passenger to do it.

A relative works for the city of NY and is the "family or tribal" spokesman. It is he to whom she first went for help after the event.

Tin foil chapeau time: Guinea was in the Soviet Orbit for years, depending upon the Russkis, not the Frogs who set the former colony up as an independent nation under DeGaulle.

Putin is an avowed enemy of DSK. Theory is that Putin set this up, via Guinea connection! Hey I said put the tinfoil hat on, didn't I?

http//www.slate.fr has the whole weird story.

My prediction: DSK's attorney, who is a real NYC wisenheimer, will use the "LOTTO" defense. The victim, upon becoming the richest woman in her tribe, will drop charges. DSK will cop a plea to "Resisting Arrest" be fined, and sentenced to time served. He will resign the IMF to "spend time with his family." It's tombola time for the lawyers and the victim! Vive la France!

Short answer:

Did he need an instant ticket before - or after - the rape.

Thx Kenny. I appreciate the info. I understand my statement was wrong.

Now for any future responses to my post: due to the overwhelming response to my incorrect statement, I want to send out a ‘thanks in advance for the correction and feedback’ to any future pings. I would prefer to respond to you individually, but the family is coming home soon and my day of freeping must come to an end.

(that was 1/2 humor, half...1/2 ‘ok, ok, I get it)

DNA, SHMEED-NA, this is going to be the biggest buyout since AT&T. Or at least the biggest payout since the NYC Cops hot that other Diallo (Amadou) in 1999.

Let the negotiations begin! After the first $5Million, tragically, this will start to fade from an obvious case of violent rape, to slowly morph into some sort of claimed love at first sight!

That’s nice but how about this—— I thought immigrants were supposed to come here and work hard and contribute into Social Security and the tax base. She immigrated here and despite being a Muslim got AIDS? How much is her AIDS treatment and AIDS housing costing taxpayers? $80,000 per year?

She is young yet a drain on the taxpayers. You do the math
