Sovereignty: The "Arab Spring" is supposed to be about the liberation of the Middle East from the despotisms of the past. Funny that Arab protesters' latest target is the one and only stable democracy in the region: Israel.
The more things change, the more they stay the same. Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak may be history after mass demonstrations led to an end to his rule and an uncertain future for the land of the Pharaohs, a nation that in the not-too-distant past warred with Israel and allied itself with the Soviet Union.
Moammar Gadhafi may not be in as comfortable a position in Libya as he was once. And the living symbol of jihad, Osama bin Laden, may no longer be living.
But in spite of what many in Western governments and media hail as steps toward liberty and Westernization, and away from Islamist hatred for the free world, for too many Arabs the ultimate message seems to be the same as it ever was: Death to Israel.
Speaking to Muslim worshipers in Gaza City on Sunday as they commemorated Nakba translated as "the day of the catastrophe," or when Israel was established in 1948 Hamas Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh exhorted his listeners to pray for an end to Israel.
"Palestinians mark the Nakba with great hope of bringing to an end the Zionist project in Palestine," Haniyeh told the crowds as he promised that Hamas would never recognize Israel's right to exist.
And could it be a coincidence that Arab demonstrators flooded to numerous points on Israel's borders next to Gaza, Lebanon, Syria and the West Bank, also in commemoration of Nakba?

I don’t know anything about Jewish heritage. My Jewish friend took the position that to stay there was suicide and that the Israelis should up and move. I don’t think God would mind, but I agree with you and would not retreat from the muzzies either. As a lapsed Cathloic, I would not mind another Crusade so I could gain absolution, but hey, that’s just me.
I would not like another “crusade”.....several hundred entire Jewish communities were obliterated (yes—100% obliterated) by the crusaders.
u actually believe the MSM?
Perhaps a world leader will enforce a seven year peace treaty. Most likely this Fall.

I haven't been silenced and never will be. Satan has to destroy the Jews to keep Jesus from returning and he will use any one of his own to accomplish that goal - including religious leftist replacement theologists.
I'll never shut up about the truth about God's love for His chosen people and His plans for them and promises to them which He will carry out and keep.
God’s Word can not be broken looks explicit to me./
