I believe there are more people with this attitude than anyone could possibly imagine.
He could very well "come out of nowhere on the run" like nothing we've ever seen before.
I surely support the early solutions for out current economic situation that he's already expounded.
Excellent point...My experience with pols is that what they say is NOT what they will do. If we are desparate for a pol then lets get Juan McCain again, that worked well, did it not? We need someone who can reach across the aisle and stab us in the back.
Personally, I’d much prefer him never use the term “black” or “white” when referring to himself or others.
And we don’t have to guess about Herman Cain’s biography or his place of birth, or even who his daddy was. And we sure as hell don’t have to wonder about his religion.
Cain can help educate voters: It's not about race. The race card has expired. Listen to the views of the candidates, don't just judge them on skin color.
Palin can remind voters: They've investigated me, my family, my town: everything. Why won't people investigate Obama, his friends, his business associates: anything. What is the press trying to hide?
Paul can explain things to voters: We are supposed to have a limited government. Our problems come from having a government which malfunctions because it tries to do things which it obviously cannot do. Less government is a real solution.
I especially like Palin, Bachmann, West and Cain, but the totality of the field may be a key factor: Obama needs to be hit from many angles and even second tier GOP candidates may be able to perform valuable service, if we can refrain from attacking our own.

God...you all fall for the headline and don’t read what he said. What he said is true and makes sense. Everyone here seems to have gone nuts...All he said is if he is nominated all the race baiting of the left will be muted because he is black. Therefore, the Rats fear him being the nominee because then they can’t play the race card. Thus, because he is black the Rats are coming after him heavy. What is wrong with that. It is true and not playing race card. It is the opposite. Freepers use to have common sense and not a bunch of reflex loons. What has happened to those here with common sense.
And now, he plays the race card. But the truth is, Herman, if you were white, nobody would take you seriously.
Well, he is absolutely right that the left is terrified of conservative minorities. They really would go after him much more aggressively than a white candidate if he were a serious threat.
Still, you are correct. Cain has demonstrated he can win absolutely nothing and as such will not be taken seriously by enough people to be a factor once the actual primaries get under way. A former pizza boss and radio talk show host with no record of winning any election is just not going to be nominated for President. Add to that the fact he's had stage 4 cancer, and well, people wouldn't say it but they just aren't going to vote for a guy they worry could relapse and die.
As a tactic to throw him off message, and associate Cain with the ugliness of racism.
I agree, expose the hypocrite racists/mysoginists and race baiters on the left... Run a Herman Cain/Condoleza Rice ticket.... or a Palin/Rice ticket OMG their heads would explode...

That won’t work for a REAL black candidate, it only works for mostly white, partly Arab, FAKE black, muslim candidates who run an “Old Smokey” campaign (tell more lies than cross ties on a a railroad or stars in the sky).

I totally agree with Herman Cain. That is precisely what the libs will do. They fear him like they fear Palin. He exposes all their memes as lies. He’s not pulling a race card here. Pay more attention to what he is saying and not so much attention to what the Paultards, RINOs and beltway boys want you to believe.
