He was fake acting to get Obama to release his fake records.

Tomorrow is when the Corsi book is released. We will know all tomorrow. Either total crap will hit the fan and Obama will be forced to resign and Hillary or Bayh can save the dems or it will all fizzle away like Trump and the fix is in for Obama.

Trump said the other day ALL OF A SUDDEN LIKE he studied Ross Perot and saw that it is impossible.

Big publicity stunt.

Exactly, he's a PROMOTER akin to Don King, actually a great way to promote the "Trump" brand!

I am wondering why there is not one post in this thread about getting Corsi’s book tomorrow? Many from here said they went and pre ordered the book. Will the book sizzle or fizzle has not been mentioned once in this thread. How strange.

Media showed his sour reaction over and over to the drubbing at the press dinner, then heralded Obama’s release of a bc. Trump got bad advice on that one.

Actually, I never thought he would run. He may be a crazy New York style publicity hound (and having grown up there, I know the breed) but I think he really was galled by Bambi’s flagrant contempt for the US and our procedures, and I think he used his untouchable public status - that is, he’s rich enough so it doesn’t matter to him whether or not the networks continue to carry him - to call attention to the issue.

I doubt that he seriously considered a presidential run, although I think he had fun talking about it. He had a very messy marital situation a few years back, and while that wouldn’t matter for a Dem, it would matter for a GOPer (that is, the press would be camped outside the court demanding records). Furthermore, he has a life, something that most professional pols don’t have.

Perhaps he’ll come back in a future GOP administration...as what, I can’t imagine, but I’d suspect there’s a slot for somebody like him.

I think his kids are running the business, he acts as a public spokesperson. He figured politics would be a good place to go, rather than retirement. He underestimated how down and dirty it can get. I imagine his kids telling him to get out now, that it was hurting the bottom line.....Oprah also experienced a ratings drop when she decided to back Obama. But she doesn’t have any kids watching their inheritance dwindle...lol.

So where are the hospital billing records for Odumbo’s mother that Trump was talking about? Maybe his mother got free room and board.

Palin, possibly Bachman, West. Cain has never served in public office and although I like what he says, it’s probably not enough. Although he is certainly not ideal, or as good as the others, Pawlenty may emerge as a compromise candidate between grass roots conservatives and the establishment.

I don’t know what to make of this but it all seems very weird. Flirting with running is one thing, but why the full-court press on the Obama BC? Why get out a day before the Corsi book comes out? Seems weird, did he play Obama on the BC or get played?

It may very well come down to Palin, because I don’t see that feistiness in any of the other potential candidates.

As somebody mentioned, I think it's more and more likely that Palin will keep the dough and play the Kingmaker. Yes she's feisty, but hasn't shown it enough recently to show the requisite "FIRE IN THE BELLY" for a full on RUN, as Haley Barbour so succinctly put it. Moreover, from what I read in her books, she is fiercely protective of her family. I think the media spotlight on her since 2008 has convinced her that running will damage the family too much. Balance that with her FOX gig and it seems like a no-brainer. She can be a player without taking nearly so much heat.

As I indicated, she and Governor Perry have a close relationship, Perry may very well wind up being the “Palin Candidate.”
