AMHERST, N.Y. — Muslim leaders are upset that a homeowner who lives next door to a newly opened mosque has posted a sign on his front lawn that reads “Bomb Making Next Driveway.’’
Michael Heick lives along a heavily traveled road in the town of Amherst, a Buffalo suburb.
The next driveway on the same side of the road is the entrance to the Jaffarya Center.
Heick told local media outlets that he put up the sign last weekend because he was frustrated with how the mosque and town officials handled his complaints that the mosque was built too close to his property and that its bright lights violate town code.
“The place is too close. I don’t care what people think. It doesn’t matter what people think,’’ he told the Buffalo News. “This is a way to get answers now. I get none from the town. The intent was to catch the eye of the people who I have a problem with.’’
Mosque officials said the sign’s message is offensive and that Heick hasn’t responded to their requests for a meeting.
“I would really think it’s an incitement of hatred against Muslims,’’ said Dr. Syed Jaffri, an Amherst psychiatrist and member of the mosque’s board of trustees. “Law enforcement should take it very seriously. Tomorrow, somebody could say, ‘Oh they have weapons,’ and people believe it.’’

You are correct in a sort of backwards way. Jews don’t actually kill Christians. muslims actually make bombs.

Bad analogy. Any Jews involved in Jesus’ crucifixion lived and died over 2,000 years ago. No Jews today are actively involved in crucifying any Christians.
Muslems on the other hand are actively involved TODAY (not 2,000 years ago) in making people and stuff go BOOM.

How is it that the Romans always seem to have their hands washed clean of it?
Whose idea of capital punishment was crucifixion? The Romans. Whose court was he condemned in? The Romans. Who scourged him? The Romans. Who drove the nails? Romans. Who thrust the spear into his side? Romans.
Not that I go for such guilt by association twaddle - but really!

I could see your point if someone put that type of sign up next to a Roman temple or arena. IIRC, the Jews of Jesus’ time were unable to practice capital punishment except for a stoning in the provinces now and then. The Roman procurator crucified Jesus. Not the Jews.
I wonder if he pointedly fries up some nice bacon during services...
Someone will rip it down so he needs to have a supply of replacement signs but I think he needs content variety as well. I think Freepers could supply such variety. Jihadists next driveway would work I think.
An even better sign would read “Religion of Pieces” with a large directional arrow.
