Yes, one in five likely voters believe that Osama bin Laden is not dead. To be fair, 81 percent believe the uber-terrorist is dead, 11 percent have doubts that he is dead, and 8 percent are not sure doubtful, to a degree, of the Obama administrations official report.

Could it be that government in general, and this administration in particular, have mislead us, told us half-truths, and out-and-out lied to us for so long that we (at least 20% of us) question everything they tell us???
Some wise words about truth:
"If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State." - Joseph Goebbels (Propoganda Minister)
"The truth is found when men are free to pursue it." - Franklin D. Roosevelt
"Truth never damages a cause that is just." - Mahatma Gandhi
"...the chief 'truth' that guided the Founders was 'that men were corruptible and that power always corrupted.' They believed that 'greed and lust for power ... were inquenchable in mortal men.' ... The great concern of the Founders was tyranny. After all, they had just barely escaped the clutches of King George ... The last thing they wanted was a power-hungry president, a domestic King George ... The Founders did not trust men's natural inclinations. ... (they) envisioned a supreme legislative branch as the heart and soul of America's central government. They assumed that Congress, drawn from all parts of the country, would initiate bills, set budgets, approve wars, provide national leadership, and if necessary, impeach and toss out a wayward president. After all, who would give supreme powers to one man, or woman?" - From The Christian Science Monitor, "To the Founders, Congress was king," by John Dillin (1/20/05) quoting from Dr. Carol Berkin's book, A Brilliant Solution: Inventing the American Constitution.
Don’t doubt that he’s dead, just doubt the “facts” resented to us by the biggest liar of the century after conveniently dumping crucial evidence in the ocean and refusing to release any photos.
It speaks to the fact that at least 25% of us don’t believe a word coming from O.
It just means that 20% don’t believe a thing that comes out of the LIAR’s mouth. Not a bad view all in all.
Don’t believe ZOGBY or his Islamic little friend BO!

Corrected it. The fact that so many people doubt the many different official versions of OBL's death (if he is dead) is due solely to the lying muslim in cheif.
But Osama *is* dead, and US Seals killed him two weeks ago.
I think in the back of their minds they probably realize he’s dead, it’s just hard to take the word of a serial liar (FUBO) seriously.
I do understand that.
Rush said the other day that hundreds of people would have to be in on it. WRONG. The only people who had to be “in on it” would be the seal team (those actually in the room) and they take orders. How? you say?
Take Osama alive covered up, disguised. Take a dead body in a body bag or bring a dead body in a body bag with you. FAKE a dead body in a body bag.
Take Osama to a secret location for interrogation, never to be heard of again. Fake dead pictures, (they could use the birth certificate guy). Clean & dump overboard “A BODY”.
Limit the number of people at washing (if it even happened) order their silence (military remember).
Easy. Did it happen that way? I doubt it. James Inhofe says Osama’s dead, that's good enough for me.
Would I EVER believe ANYTHING this administration says??????
ABSOLUTELY NOT!
“It speaks to the fact that at least 25% of us dont believe a word coming from O.”
These people are just playing the odds. When the president has told lies more often than the truth, who can blame them for thinking it’s more likely than not that Obama’s claims of Osama’s death likewise are simply more lies by a POTUS who evidently does not regard truth-telling as a particularly high priority?
