Mike Barnicle has greeted Newt Gingrich's announcement of his presidential candidacy with a sneer, calling the former Speaker of the House "a delusional loser." The former Kennedy-clan retainer and Boston Globe columnist seasoned his attack with some snobbery, disparaging Gingrich's educational background.
Barnicle spewed his bile on today's Morning Joe.

I’m sure Newt is much smarter than Barnicle but I still won’t vote for him.
Isn’t Barnacle calling Newt “a delusional loser” a classic case of the pot calling the kettle black?
Now he is playing anti-Democrat but he used to brag about working with Hillary on ‘Health Reform’ and other issues.

I agree with Barnicle.
I enjoy and appreciate Newt’s lectures. He’s a smart guy and for the most part, makes a lot of sense. I don’t like Mike Barnicle at all. But as far as a run for the Presidency is concerned? Barnicle’s right.
I have more respect for the slugs who will be eating my cabbage this fall.

Some how I am on the Newt campaign’s begging list. I got one preannouncement request for money and another just hours before the announcement
I replied to both “Newt Was”
I actually like Newt and know without reservation that he is at the very top of the list of thinkers. He sees far into the future with clarity others do not. He has no chance at president.
I think he is running for the residual funds on account after he resigns the campaign

Newt Is NOT some one I will ever vote for. Hes has proven himself time and time again to be untrustworthy.

Actually, Barnicle got fired from the Globe for fabricating stories (he’d done it for years) not for plagiarizing, as I recall.
Yes, he did print some jokes stolen from George Carlin, but that wasn’t the thing that triggered his firing.
This guy knows all about loserville.
2012 will be a poll destroyer because record numbers of Americans will say,out of fears of being thought “racist,” that they will vote for Obama.
But once inside the booth they will realize how dangerous he truly is.
Hell,even Trump would whoop Obama’s butt—AND HE SURE AS HELL KNOWS IT!!!
Why else? On the bright side--all the Dems will go down with Obama in 2012 because THEY too are afraid of being called racist if they don't support him. The race card brought America to the brink of destruction in 2008 and will save it in 2012.
