INDIANAPOLIS, May 10, 2011 (LifeSiteNews.com) - Indiana has become the first state to cut off Planned Parenthood from taxpayer assistance because of its role in the abortion business.

Governor Mitch Daniels, a potential contender for the 2012 GOP presidential ticket, signed on Tuesday a measure to block public funds from going to organizations that perform abortions, depriving Planned Parenthood of an estimated $3 million in both state and federal funds.

According to the Associated Press, Planned Parenthood of Indiana has promised to take to federal court to seek a temporary restraining order and injunction Tuesday against the new law.

I gotta agree with your analysis. While his low key debating style would shred Obama in a debate, Governor Daniels just isn’t exciting.

How in the F***K does the taxpayer owe you an existence and the means to continue your death beds for babies?

Wonderful!

There will be new babies to welcome that would not have otherwise survived.

God still hears and answers our prayers.

Thank You, Lord. Thank You.

I hope you’re right. My worry is that once he gets beside Obama on the debate podium he gets all McCain on us. That’s assuming Obama does any debates. I just KNOW Axelrod et al ae going to limit the number of debates or have non at all. They’ll cry “the president has to work, no time for debates” and the media will say “how refreshing”.

How do you like Daniels? I get laughed at because I like what I see of him.

He’s not perfect. But, he’s very low key and effective. That sets well with Hoosiers; whether it would with people outside of the rural midwest, I dunno.

Yeah, he might be too normal for the country at large. Reminds me of Silent Cal.

I congratulate Governor Daniels on this “gutsy call.” I like his decertifying of public unions on day one even better. And I can buy for a minute that his low key style would score points versus Obama. What bothers me is he is quick to “reach across the aisle” in a sound byte for some totally unknown reason. He does “go McCain” on us from time to time.

He’s proven he can walk the walk — but I don’t think he’s willing to talk the talk. Yes, I know that 180 degrees away from what we normally get, but talking the talk is doggoned important in our society today. You don’t have to talk like Christie or Trump, but you can’t be going McCain.
