How do you like Daniels? I get laughed at because I like what I see of him.
He’s not perfect. But, he’s very low key and effective. That sets well with Hoosiers; whether it would with people outside of the rural midwest, I dunno.
I like him as a governor. He’s been good for the state and believe me, he’s caught a lot of crap for things he’s done. The I-69 road project caused a real bruhaha in the north east part of the state, but he got it done. Now the southern I-69 section is getting done. Yeah, he sold it to an outsider, so what. They charge a toll, so what. If you use it you should be willing to pay for it. I personally won’t use it often, maybe once in a while if I go to Indy, but I’d be willing to pay a toll if I used it. He’s balanced our budget and got us fiscally sound. Can’t say that for other states. He doesn’t care what the naysayers crab about, he just does the job that needs to be done.
