They’re going to know it already.

Well, this is good news. We must learn from osama. He has shown us that, should the gov takes away our phones, internet and all other ways of communicating, it shouldn't stop us. Teapartiers and Freepers can keep communicating. It's be slower but still it is possible.
I'm surprised there were no carrier pigeons found. I'm not sure how useful rabbits are... unless osama used rabbit ears for his TV.

I wonder what the satellite dish(es) were for? I swear I saw at least two in the diagram.

The greatest take down in the history of the world/s
All BS. We aren't allowed to see death pictures yet they put all this stuff on the internet that should be classified info.
How big of a boost does Obama need?

Satellite TV? At the very least a command center would need to communicate out if not receive.

“A command center with no phone service, no internet, no TV?”
I agree.I suspect further inspection will reveal a hardwired internet/phone connection surreptitiously routed from a neighboring home. Nobody has “ 2 terabytes of information “ on a non-internet connected computer.

Honestly, Osama Bin Laden struck me as retired from terrorism in this compound (No phone, Broke). Al Qaeda seems to be run by other people now.
To: ilovesarah2012
Given the U.S. advantage in sigintel, using Napoleonic-era command and control (couriers) at the strategic, and perhaps even operational and tactical level may actually be a good plan for anyone fighting us. AQ seems to have thought so.

I sure hope we find lots of porn on the confiscated computers and PUBLICIZE THAT FACT so the Muzziger world has to deal with the hypocrisy of their godlike “leader.”
When Obama Bin Laden lived in London, apparently he went to nightclubs a lot and probably boinked a few infidels.
What a douche that MF was.

"This is the reinvention of President Obama."That's right. Not a day will go by there wont be a story about some super intel nugget we uncovered there.
And nothing would be more devastating to that reinvention than a photo of some feeble old man with half his head blown off.

Agreed the franchise took over long ago.

My point is I don’t believe they didn’t have communications there. I don’t believe anything the government says. I am now not even convinced Bin Laden is dead.
To: UniqueViews
an active command and control center with no phones and internet?
We were involved in a little conflict back in the 1960s and early 1970s where our enemy was meeting in caves and tunnels and they didn't have the internet or even the cell phones that Bin Laden and his people had access to. Heck, we've fought wars where we didn't have internet or cell phones, imagine that!
To: Krankor
I think bin laden suffered from dementia or Alzheimers and was under virtual house arrest and monitored by both the US and Pakistan for years. That may be the reason Bush refused to meet with Obama in New York- he knew the truth. I mean, come on, the guy is living in squalor with three wives and 13 kids and hes supposedly leading this worldwide command center.
You're telling us that George Bush knew where Bin Laden was and didn't do anything about it?
To: diogenes ghost
I just don't understand why the intelligence community is crowing about "the largest intelligence collection ever". Why do you say the intelligence community is crowing? All the leakage seems to be coming from 1600 Penn Ave, doesn't it?

The Libs called Koresh’s church and annexes a “compound.”
Calling a large structure a “compound” or “command center” gives it a military air and thus excuses any mass homicides committed there.
Of course, unlike defenseless women and children in Waco,OBL and his bunch deserved their massacre.
