Amazing true story of how a writer/producer was destroyed career-wise for daring to tell the ugly truth about the Kennedys.
Everything you loathe about the Kennedys has been verified. Read at Link before it is scrubbed.
Same with the Klintoons and Obamugabes....................
Dzien dobry, Pan Autostrade...;)
Wish someone would post that again.
One notes this article has already been scrubbed by Google, Yahoo, and the others. I am sure the link will be pulled next, then all paper copies.
I had to download the episodes on bit torrent so I could watch them again.
The first episode/copy on the web had the ‘H’ for history channel logo, which probably means the first episode was already in agreement. The 2nd episode had the “Reelz” logo, meaning this was the time History made the decision not to have it on their revisionist, liberal channel.
I thought it was fair. Bobby was the family, straight man and the mother was a strict devout Christian who looked the other way while Joe kennedy banged his assistant. Mrs. Tom Cruise was excellent as Jackie, so’s Greg Kinnear.
I would prefer that the next family would be the OBAMAS. Daddy Obama was a married rapist who raped a white teenager. Mommy Obama was white, guilt-ridden liberal who didn’t like white dudes. Grandaddy obama hated the Brits, and the rest of the cousins are living in America illegally. That would have been more interesting.
This series was shown on the History Channel in the UK and Canada during April. I watched it on Reelz in May, and didn’t learn anything new about the Kennedys that hadn’t been out there for years. According to Wikipedia, it’s supposed to be released on Region 2 DVD on July 4th, 2011.
It was all pretty obvious even at the time, if you looked at the actual facts that not even the Camelot adulators were entirely able to hide.
Of course, I also knew a few insiders who told me about Kennedy’s serial womanizing, which mostly didn’t come out until later. At least two different women a day, some virtually raped by Executive Order (”You can’t say ‘no’ to me”), and none of them named Jackie.
But we knew that Richard Daley and LBJ stole the election for him. We knew that his father was a Chicago gangster who ran a huge liquor smuggling business. We knew that his first few days in office he was responsible for the Bay of Pigs fiasco. And so forth.
I’m on my mobile and can’t read all of it now. Hope it’s there tonight.
But despite all the trouble the Kennedy’s and their henchpersons have gone to over the past five decades, the truth will out — and the truth has come out. And out. And out. Everyone knows all the sordid chapters in all of their stories. And then some. The part about their destruction of William Manchester was very interesting.

The old Nazi Joe turned Jack’s loss of his boat and death of a crewmate from a scheduled court-martial into a Navy Commendation Medal. And the Kennedys still get one dollar for every bottle of scotch imported into North America.
Has a Kennedy lived that wasn’t total scum?
Aren’t the Kennedys rich?
It’s at least 14 pages! WOW.
The series is really pro-Kennedy on the whole. Several of the performances are brilliant though the actor who played Joe Kennedy steals the show.
On the last page he wonders why Caroline didn’t go public in her criticism and did it in a backroom way...isn’t that what Joe would have done?
I had the series on my DVR for weeks and just recently finished it. I thought the acting was great, except Joe had a Brit accent, LOL.
As others have said, it really doesn’t cover any new ground, it’s just embarrassing about the womanizing and drugs.
I knew the Kennedys were rich, but it does illustrate just how opulent their lifestyle was, which I had underestimated since the press wants them to be Camelot on one hand, yet the All-American family on the other, with their football games and such. And I didn’t have a good sense of just how disabled from his pain JFK was.
Overall I enjoyed it quite a bit, and I’m glad it put the Reelz Channel on the map.
If you click the “print” link you’ll have the whole article on one page. You can save it too (e.g., print as a PDF - I just did for later reading).
Ah, thank you! Will do!
