spoke to a retired firemen yesterday and every day as he is the kids school bus driver but was there during 9/11 and lost pals.

I asked him how does he feel and he said good but the respecting of his religious ceremony and us giving pakistan money pisses him off .

He also added that if any side or obama uses this to push for votes then it would piss him off too.

The cover story was that it was a photo shoot, then when the actual photos were released, they looked amateurish, at best.

This White House has a big problem trying to control images. They prefer to use descriptive words, because it's easier to mislead and lie.

Osama was apparently the only individual, dead or alive, to be removed from the scene. The other dead bodies were turned over to the Pakis, and there were also apparently a number of survivors who were allowed to survive and were not carted off to Gitmo. So, you can bet accounts of the raid, TTPs and all, will spread like wildfire through what's left of AQ.

What I'm curious about is the long time lag between last August and now, during which the CIA and the ISI maintained security. I mean elements, possibly different elements, of the ISI had to know (1) Osama had been hiding since 2005 in a compound in their midst and (2) the CIA was now onto him. The marvel is that the ISI didn't warn him in time to flee to his cave in Waziristan.

A head shot will just show someone dead. There will not be enough to verify this was OBL. It could be ANY dead muslime, since most of the skull was probably blown off.

Yesterday everyone was making wise cracks about Osama’s death
and worried about the effect this might have on Obama’s poll numbers.

The best one I heard all day came from my mom.

I was discussing with her the issue of Obama’s re-election

Obama released the Abu Graib pictures without hesitation, but he won’t release the OBL death photo for proof to quiet the doubters and send a message to radical Islam??? You do the math on this one.

I think you need to work on your math a little more. Obama became president in 2009. The first Abu Graib photos were made public in 2004. In 2006, the Bush administration agreed to allow the release of Abu Graib photos rather than appeal a federal judge's ruling. In 2009, when he actually was president, Obama opposed the release of a new set of photos allegedly depicting prisoner abuse.
