Conspiracies conjure that Osama bin Laden still lives (Cindy Sheehan, deather)

The decision to drop terror chieftain Osama bin Laden’s corpse into the Arabian Sea was the final meticulous step in a raid whose details were calculated to exert deadly force but also to achieve maximum effect in the propaganda war: the White House was careful to say bin Laden’s body had been treated according to Islamic tradition, but also to deny his followers a shrine.

But while the watery grave may help diminish bin Laden’s status as a martyr to his followers, it was already fueling conspiracy theories; as the administration resisted releasing even photographs of the slain terrorist leader on Monday, a predictable haze of myth and rumor had already, inevitably, begun to rise around him.

The White House said Monday morning that it is running DNA tests on some element of Bin Laden’s remains, and that it’s debating releasing a photograph taken of him after the lethal U.S. raid on his Pakistani compound.

“The United States Government has not yet been made a decision on whether there will be a photo release,” White House spokesman Tommy Vietor said in an email.

Anti-war activist Cindy Sheehan wrote her supporters, “I am sorry, but if you believe the newest death of OBL, you’re stupid. Just think to yourself—they paraded Saddam’s dead sons around to prove they were dead—why do you suppose they hastily buried this version of OBL at sea? This lying, murderous Empire can only exist with your brainwashed consent—just put your flags away and THINK!”

Bin Laden's bones are likely still under a ton of rocks at Tora Bora.

It seemed odd to me that with all the recent stuff in Egypt, Syria, Yemen, Libya, etc. that Bin Laden wasn't producing all sorts of audio/video messages to his followers in those places.

3) Obama is being attacked on proving his place of birth, so successfully he has had to respond with his own propaganda initiative, and needs a distraction.

4) Obama is a grift artist, and lives by the campaign in which false images are presented to boost his popularity, this from the outset of his presidential campaign , which has not ceased with his inauguration.

5) Obama, by his conduct on Libya, the betrayal of allies of the USA on he WOT, Mubarack and Kadaffi, shows that he supports the Muslim Brotherhood and the spread of the World Wide Caliphate movement into North Africa and sub Saharan Africa.

Conclusion: I do not believe a thing that Obama does and says. If Osama Bin Laden is dead, I give credit to George W Bush who launched the Bin Laden hunt program years ago.But given the above stated facts, there is more than an even chance that his whole situation was staged to falsely END the hunt for Bin Laden, who may be even now lapsing into a comfortable anonymous retirement in a secret location.Taquiya,a major component of the Muslin Brotherhood that now is daily advising a traitorous president.Given Obamas thuggishness, his history of concealing all of his personal record, I objectively conclude that Bin Laden is alive and well and kicking back somewhere very safe.All the details of Osama Bin Ladens proof of death could easily have been staged. There is no true forensic independent verfication which should have been given as proof to NATO Allies.Indeed the body should have been handed over to NATO for verification of identity.Why was it not? People who want to believe a conspiracy, will twist themselves in knots in order to believe it.

You argue that "the body should have been turned over to 'NATO'", but you don't give any reason for that to happen. Why would the US military, executing a US military operation turn over ANYTHING to NATO, much less Osama bin Laden's body. Should we also turn all of our Guantanamo prisoners over to NATO, too?

What scientific method is "more careful" than DNA analysis. I'm all ears. You don't need a body to do a DNA test, you can quite literally swab the inside of the mouth to complete the test.

Deus ex machina. Every good conspiracy theory needs one, but yours seems to have several - secret plastic surgery, scores of US uniformed service members "in on" the conspiracy, and a vast Muslim network in the highest echelons of government. Let me know how the book tour comes out.

@AUH2OREPUBLICAN: read the article again - Denninger shows that the White House version of the BC does have kerning in it, while the supposedly identical version posted by the AP does not. FYI, I believe that we (meaning US astronauts) landed on the Moon, at the times and places that were reported from 1969-1972. I also believe that Moslem terrorists inspired and led by Osama bin Laden took down the 2 WTC towers. I don’t believe that space aliens kidnapped Elvis (because the fat, druggee bastard is dead) or President Kennedy (almost certainly shot dead by Oswald, there’s no convincing evidence otherwise), that the US Government is hiding live or dead space aliens in Area 51 or Hangar 18, that space aliens built the pyramids, or any such nonsense.

However, this particular President has NO credibility with me - he is a habitual liar, and the above-referenced articles (and videos contained therein) show pretty irrefutable evidence that the electronic document purporting to be Obama’s birth certificate that was provided by the White House was manufactured. Note that this alone does NOT prove that the information is false or different than the truth facts regarding his birth, but they beg the question of WHY DID THE WHITE HOUSE PASS OUT SUCH A CLEARLY FLAWED DOCUMENT?

That’s just the latest in a long string of lies or “look like lies” from the “most transparent administration in history,” so I just don’t trust the complete accuracy of what they’re saying about OBL. SHOW ME THE BODY (or at least pictures of it that can be analyzed vs. known valid pictures of OBL).

If there’s nothing to hide, why hide it? That goes for the BC and the OBL issues.
