Gaddafi Calls On War With Italy

Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi on Saturday called on war with Italy, citing Italy's 'colonization' attempts.

In a speech delivered at the Libyan state TV, Gaddafi said that he could not prevent war with Italy since Libyans wanted it.

"We are already in a war with Italy since Italians kill our children in 2011 as they did in 1911, that is why I cannot forbid Libyans to defend their lives and carry the military actions on the enemy's territory," Gaddafi said.

"Gaddafi on Saturday called on war with Italy"

What does "called on war" mean?

Crazy like a fox. This invokes NATO by definition. If Lybia manages an actual op against Italy, *we* as in the US is obligated to respond if requested (as are all NATO members).

So let’s say that happens. That either put US boots on the ground or obama abrogates the NATO alliance.

Either way, Qadaffi wins.

Of course, none of that happens unless Lybia successfully attacks Italy.

Or am I wrong? I only skimmed the treaty that created NATO. And that was over a decade ago.

Both of course. Barry could be worse off then the colonel in the final analysis.

Well, I can understand why Obama is involved. He wants to help the Muslim terrorists take over all the Arab states.

But why on earth has Italy allowed itself to get involved? This is war in the Mediterranean, right in their neighborhood. Did they really expect to help bomb Libya and not have Libya bomb them in return? Or their ships or citizens? Is Kaddafi just supposed to take it, and never retaliate?

I certainly don’t want to see any Italians killed. But what on earth are they thinking of? And France? I know they have colonial ambitions in Chad and the Ivory Coast, but why on earth do they want to provoke and alienate Kaddafi?

Nutjob from Iran is missing.

I have a sense of doom and gloom.

World leaders all over are being ousted . Yes, some of them should be...but they have been in their place for decades.

Then they start to fall like dominoes.

Earthquakes , tornados..and now they are going to blow a levee. MAYBE. A town on the MIssissippi has told all residents to get out. Cairo, Illinois.

What happens to the New Madrid fault line if water rushes in/on it.

We need someone like Reagan so badly ..and no one is in site to fill his shoes.

Just a bunch of RINOS.

I read recently that France stopped trainloads of Muslim immigrants from Italy and sent them back to Italia so there are plenty there if this is a jihad. Ruh-roh.
