Sitting next to his wife, Michelle, Obama told Winfrey that he asked a favor, in a way, from the Aloha State.
"I said to my team, look, even though this is not usually what the state of Hawaii does. Even though the Republican governor of Hawaii, the Democratic governors of Hawaii, all the various officials had confirmed that I was born here, let's ask them for a special dispensation where they will go ahead and provide us with the original to see if we can put this to rest," Obama told the talk-show host.

You don't need "special dispensation" to get a certified copy of your own birthcertificate, and you can give permission to someone else, to get a copy of your own birthcertificate, NO "special dispensation" is necessary.
I'm still waiting to see that original.

Exactly. What’s the point of keeping a BC on file if it cannot be accessed by ANYONE, including the owner.

If the state of HI refuses to give people their BC that is a problem which needs to be rectified, by the people of HI. It should not take the equivalent of an act of Congress to get a copy of your original BC. That should be standard info, since it’s yours. I can understand why other people cannot access that, but the person whose info it is should be able to easily get it. Period.
Yep, so am I. But don't hold your breath. There is NO Original BC for Obozo in the state of HI. I don't know where he was born (suspect Canada), but if it had been that easy he would have released the document years ago. He did not. This "abstract" will not fix the problem.
I’ve seen the Hawaii laws posted some time, that people who don’t have a vested interest, or something like that can’t access people’s birth certificate, but the person whose BC it is can, or that person can sign something to give permission to others to access it.
This “special dispensation” nonsense is bogus — does he think we are all so stupid? (this is only a rhetorical question)

(b) The department shall not permit inspection of public health statistics records, or issue a certified copy of any such record or part thereof, unless it is satisfied that the applicant has a direct and tangible interest in the record. The following persons shall be considered to have a direct and tangible interest in a public health statistics record:
(1) The registrant;
(2) The spouse of the registrant;”

I would say that we, the American people DO have a “direct and tangible interest” to know whether our president met the eligibility requirements to be president. But Obama himself can get it any time, without any “special dispensation”.
In any job, where US Citizenship is required, they don’t take the word of the applicant, you have to PROVE it, with a birth certificate or naturalization papers.
Total nonsense. Obama doesn’t need a “special dispensation” to get his own birth certificate from the Department of Records. Has anyone ever been told that when they asked for a birth certificate? Of course not.
Also total nonsense that this is an “original.” Whether or not it is fiddled or forged, as it certainly appears to be, it is NOT an original. It is a COLB, as is plainly stamped at the bottom of the page.
And it shows all sorts of computer manipulation that does not square with the claim, made elsewhere, that this was simply copied from an original sheet of paper sent from Hawaii.
Obama does nothing but lie, lie, lie, and seemingly doesn’t care, since if anyone objects, he will simply lie again, and the media will cover for him. Or so he expects, since they always have.
