If you want to live in a flood plain that's your business, but if your house washes away it is not the responsibility of taxpayers to give you a new one.

The ad on that page has a family playing in the water. Thought it was part of the story for a moment.

Really. Hard to sympathize with someone who repeats the same costly mistake and repeatedly expects the taxpayer to bail him out. Move, idiot. Ever hear the term "high ground?"

Y’know...

...in Revelation 19, Jesus comes back with all the armies of Heaven behind him, and — in verse 19 — you read that the Antichrist and all the kings of the Earth and their armies “gather together to make war against” Jesus and his army.

We’re talkin’ human armies with tanks, guns and airplanes, thinkin’ they’re going to go defeat God. It’s crazy talk, but there it is.

I always wondered if there really were people who would actually do something like that: go out to fight an inexorable foe talking like they could win.

I guess this article answers my question pretty conclusively.
