Well, hey, if the taxpayers will fund your drugs, why not go for it?

Phony claims of “Bi-Polar”, ADD, etc. are used widely to get SSDI paid and we wonder where the money goes? (Also pays illegals with benefits, too).

A woman who’s blog I read, was just diagnosed with this. I am skeptical BUT she was immediately put on medicine! Helps BIG PHARMA! I am always amazed how people just start popping whatever their dr gives them without looking into the side effects!

Personally I think that the medical terms ‘bipolar’ and ADHD are phony in and of themselves. I do not claim to be an expert though, I am only stating the impression I get from the new outburst I have seen of people (and kids) claiming to have these conditions and being medicated.

Quite probably true
And the % is likely higher
Although I've met persons who were
pretty good candidates for the dx
They are usually not the ones
who bring up the subject
Adult attention issues are
much more likely to be related to:
1. Poor Sleep hygiene / sleep apnea
2. Substance Use / Abuse
3. Undiagnosed mood disorders
4. Caffeine overuse / Prescription drugs

If I was going to fake having something, I think it would be Tourette’s syndrome.

“When did ADIDIT become fashionable?”
I read somewhere that the definiton had been changed in the late 90s. Same with the definiton of autism to a sliding scale.
