The “UMC” congregation in question is no longer a Christian Church -—it is homo fraud. God will deal with them in his plan.

Yes, God loves all sinners. So by all means, welcome them into the church. Then remind them that they are to go and sin no more. If they continue to sin, God’s Word instructs that we, as believers, must cast them out from among us.
If they’re going to refer to themselves as the CUMC, why is anyone surprised they support this?

Declarations that sinful desires are a gift from God: following the well-worn empty path of Luther and King Henry VIII who taught the world to make it up as you go along and pretend that it’s Christian.
A Church where every member is a sinner in need of salvation and mercy: God’s plan.
A “church” that eliminates sin by redefining it: evil.
General conference is next May.
Last time we had a general conference the police had to be called and some gays were taken away in cuffs. Of course the bishops allowed the demonstrators to come in and of course they stopped all proceedings to allowo them to desecrate the altar and chalice.
So, basically the UMC is a microcsm of our world. The few sick and twisted and (IMO) stanically corrupted bishops control the mass of true believers.
I thought the above positions on sin and choice were interesting. Do hetrosexual men have a 'choice' when they 'harrass' women on the job by hitting on them for sex? Isnt that our male nature? sexual gratification?? Is it wrong to restrain that too?
I still remember the 1980s when these liberals were blaming Christians, more specifically Reagan, for that ‘gift’ that homosexuals were spreading to each other called HIV, in spite of being warned not to by the Reagan administration.

What appropriate acronym can be made from that name?
The whole idea that just because you are born with some weird prediliction, like trying to stick a screwdriver into your ears, does not justify its action. It just means you should try to curb those urges.

This one church has gone off the rails, according to the UMC website and doctrine.
It's obvious that most men, by "orientation" (tendency, appetite or drive) would be "naturally" promiscuous: most of them with women, some with other men, and some with children (or at least minors at that juicy adolescent stage.) That's OK? They're good to go? It's all God-given (because "inborn") and it all leads to blessedness?
These United Methodists (I know they don't represent their whole church) ought to be "United" with the Muslims. Shari'a allows men to hook up with women and children via "temporary marriage" (Nikāḥ al-Mut‘ah) which can be as short as half an hour, as long as the dower (payment) and the duration have been agreed-to.
That sounds like it would really bless people whose "God-given orientation" happens to be promiscuity, prostitution, pedophilia or polygamy.
Which would surely be a wonderful accommodation to a MUCH bigger group than just gays.
