only if text recognition is what they were trying to do-
if this was a scanned image we should be able to reproduce it exactly with the same machine and same image
Where was it photocopied? simple Xerox machine? Let’s try it
Good catch. No way would anyone center the blocks back then. It was too hard. However... Could a modern copying program copy the info from the old docs and automatically center them into the boxes on the abstracts?
If not, sum ting Wong here.
The we should be able to reproduce it from the same machine... what did they use to copy this?
if you look at the 8-7-61 on those two images, they are more than close- they look exact
No mater how many times you write your name, you rarely wrote it exactly the same twice- in fact that is a good test of a forgery- if a sugnature is an exact match (can lay it over the top and have it be 100% exactl)
Yeah, we went over this earlier, several people went Googlie for the addresses and it turns out those are the home addresses of the mothers, not for the hopspital.
Thank you for that very good explanation,
And congrats on your first decade of FReeping! I am on my second decade now too.
You know, I’ve been reading this stuff all day, since I got up this morning and heard he released the BC.
What you have written is some of the best analysis I have seen, maybe the best. I was convinced the WH doctored what the HDoC sent over to make it look more like they wanted, but not that they tweaked anything. Even in the b/w version that was posted on ABC the scanned doc is bound, I don’t understand what sort of binding but it must have been something that did not allow removing the page for copying, but it does make some sense that if all this stuff was really based on a digital file why did they scan from a paper copy?
Thanx a lot BC6, now you got me back to wondering if it might really be forged ;)
Sorry. Sometimes fire can melt steel and the Van Allen belts aren't deadly.
We won the birth certificate issue. We made a reasonable demand and he relented after much obfuscation and provided. Let's move on and not turn Free Republic into the InfoWars of Birtherism. The document is legitimate.
OCR....
Yeah right....
“Save as”
Select filetype jpg....
You get a whole new file as single flat image when you do that.
Oh - and do not use a template or real LFBC copy that was created in 1965 via a photograph for a 2011 version that is supposed to be from an optical image library. The differences - are obvious!
Go find a LFBC since 1981 has has a bend on the left side like the one released yesterday....you wont...but the Nordykes...you will. They kept the certificates in a bound book but took a picture of them to create the copy - since optical image libraries, scanners and high tech photocopiers did not exist in 1965.
All modern LFBCs are flat images pre-scanned for digital storage and easy retrieval.
They screwed up in March of 2008 doing Midnight work in Chicago. They screwed up again April 27, 2011.
These people have a consistent track record of being sloppy.
When you're mapping out a wild conspiracy theory, please be sure to speak in complete sentences.
JW,
My apologies. I was under the impression that the green graphics were part of the photocopied BC image, like a security watermark.
If they had been, the fact that the black printing of the BC was deformed due to it being copied from a bound book, but that the green graphics were not, would have ndicated that the graphics were applied after the fact.
Sadly, I was mistaken. The BC released by the WH did not have the green textured background, to my knowledge.
You're looking at the certified copy. The original is here:
http://abcnews.go.com/images/Politics/ap_obama_certificate_dm_110427.pdf
The president's personal attorney, Judith Corley, flew to Hawaii to pick up the original, certified copies and carry them back to the White House, where she arrived around 5 p.m. Tuesday, officials said.

The ones with the green background are the scans of the certified copy(ies).
