(CNN) - As Katie Couric gets set to leave CBS News after five years in the anchor chair, it doesn't appear as if Sarah Palin will be sending any flowers.
Appearing on Fox News Tuesday, Palin mocked the CBS newswoman who told People Magazine she is looking forward to a new position that will facilitate "multi-dimensional storytelling."
"Yeah, and I hear that she wants to now engage in more 'multi-dimensional story telling' versus I guess just the 'straight on, read into the, that teleprompter screen story telling,'" Palin said. "More power to her. I wish her well in her - 'multi-dimensional story telling.'"
Palin has repeatedly made clear she is still no fan of Couric, who's interview with Palin produced one of the most memorable political foibles of the 2008 presidential campaign.

Cutie Katie is an ultra left wing moonbat who probably couldn’t formulate a coherent statement without a teleprompter, just like someone else we know. Birds (buzzards) of a feather.
Palin has repeatedly made clear she is still no fan of Couric, who’s interview with Palin...
The Immoral Adulterous media needs to go. We are tired of their biases to the left and their sneering at American Families and the Constitution.
Katie has been hemorrhaging viewers. Let her just keep on going. She's doing a good job taking down the Liberal/Progressive media with her.
Hilarious!
IMO-Palin has decided not to run and she feels free to call like she sees ‘em (not that she didn’t before).
katie was always about her looks. Having to try to do real news intersected with her middle age and no other result was possible but her ouster.
I join Mrs. Palin in hopes that katie finds something more suited to the latter’s abilities: reading stories to kindergartners.
Palin has every right to be mad at Couric; she exposed Palin as a know-nothing spokesmodel and cost the GOP any shot at retaining the White House. That engenders quite a bit of bitterness, I hear.
NO!!! Keep that left wing moonbat far away from da chillun’
I’m telling a terrible sto-ry but it
doesn’t diminish my glo-ry
As long as the Kindergarteners don’t ask her any hard questions like why the three little piggies went “wheeeee” all the way home. That is WAY over her head.
Lock your doors, windows and caps. The Palin-bots will be along any moment looking to eat your BRAINS!!!
I hear The Today Show has an opening...
McCain was NOT the GOP. He’s Democrat-light. Hell, for that matter he’s way left of RINO.
bttt
Beg pardon? Where were you on September 15, 2008?
I thought Palin sounded snarky last night about Couric. Not good for a presidential candidate. She needs to ignore these kinds of issues.
Well, actually, Katie only managed to make Palin look foolish by turning to her editors, who made selective cuts in the interview before showing it, thus misrepresenting what Palin actually said.
And that was hardly Palin’s fault. McCain’s operators hated her, and deliberately set her up with two unfriendly interviewers, both of whom edited the interviews before showing them, while preventing Palin from giving real interviews, which she is very good at.
Like it or not, Palin needs to make friends in the media, not alienate them, in spite of what she may personally think of them.
Yes, there are those, like me, who like somebody who can throw it back in their face. But I also know, that I am in the minority on that.
“The, like, spell checker didn’t, like, catch it, so it must be, like, OK?”
