Like it or not, Palin needs to make friends in the media, not alienate them, in spite of what she may personally think of them.
Yes, there are those, like me, who like somebody who can throw it back in their face. But I also know, that I am in the minority on that.
-——Palin needs to make friends in the media-——
That is a ridiculous statement. She nor any other Republican presidential candidate can not make friends with the MSM. They will not have it.
The MSM is the enemy.......write it 100 times till embedded firmly.
To kiss media ass is to lose control. To go in defense is to lose.
Attack, attack, attack
Couric couldn’t outwit Sarah if she had a team of writers whispering in her ear. YES, it is refreshing to have a candidate (we hope) who is not afraid of them, or their Democrat mas’sahs one bit.
I believe taking the high road here would prove far more beneficial.
Just like begging a cold-blooded killer not to kill you is going to make any difference. You are delusional to what anyone who is the nominee against their beloved will go through. Palin is right to mock the media and their obvious activist ‘reporting’.
SKA-REW the "media"
The so-called "media" are not in the middle and need to be exposed at every opportunity as the bunch of lying Marxist hacks they really are.
I don’t think it is possible for Palin to make friends in the media. They simply aren’t open to that.
That said, this comment was beneath a potential candidate and makes her look petty and a grudge holder.
She could have merely said “I wish Katie well and I hope she wishes the same for me.” And then moved on. She would have looked above the pettiness.
The truth is that Palin did not bring Couric up, but hosts like to bring stuff like this up hoping it create another newsflash. That is why being cautious in responding is required.
Obama has this same problem. He gets snarky and shows his thin skin. Sometimes he is even a rude little smartass. It is not a Presidential quality.
