They are soooo getting hammered...stunned!
Hearing parts of the campus were actually damaged.
Are you really ok? They’re saying it’s very bad there
good luck to you all & God’s protection!(which is better than luck IMHO)
Get to an inside room and grab a mattress to put over your head. Don’t mess with these beasts.
Amazing footage shown on TWC of that huge tornado. Tuning back in to see if they have damage updates.

Live on 33/40 it was amazing. They are calling it a 4 or 5 level tornado. It just hit the side of Birmingham and is dead read towards Gadsden, Rainbow City, Anniston areas. We live between Gadsden and Anniston, so we have our safe place ready. Standing by, holding on, prayers up. Already had enough trees around here destroyed today. About a thousand down around here. Looks like a bombing of our area. Houses, barns, fences, trees, power lines just mauled.
That one has a tornado in it. The community of Zero is reporting debris falling from the sky - means something big is approaching! Yes that is the name of the community - Zero. It is headed toward the community of Whynot. These are real names these communities are to the south of my location - Hard rain falling now!
Oh boy. Please find someplace safe.
they are reporting “extreme damage” in Tuscaloosa and Birmingham on TWC, not specifying though.
it’s beyond belief. Just turned on the weather channel- it’s a mile wide- and a little town called Hacklesburg seems just flattened.
Weather guy on FOX says most active tornado day in 40 years.
“It just missed a direct hit on Bryant-Denny Stadium”
RUN, TIDE, RUN!
Any further details? We have a cousin who lives in one of the sorority houses on the University of Alabama campus.
Pleasant Grove, people trapped in house and a middle school damaged at some level.
Severe damage Fulltonville....an apartment bldg collapsed with people trapped.
These are preliminary reports.
Just announced a tornado warning for Baltimore County, MD.
The Weather Channel is doing live coverage...amazing.
So sorry...do stay in a safe place til these threats pass...just stunned with what people are enduring
