(CNN) The White House released President Obama’s original birth certificate Wednesday.
The surprise release follows recent and sustained remarks by businessman Donald Trump, among others, that raised doubts as to whether the president was born in the United States.

Maybe they used the BC of a person born to Stanley and Ann D... (Somebody) in 1960 something?
Maybe the Stanley is from the father’s signature. Ann D is from the mother’s sig.
Can anyone find copies of BC’s issued to any “Stanley and Ann” in Hawaii around the same time?
Would you do me a favor? E-mail your cut and paste to Sean Hannity....he simply does not understand that both parents have to be citizens for a person to be “natural born.” He really irritated me talking down to 2 callers today who knew what was correct. Thanks!
I’m sure the birth certificate is legit, and I’m glad this particular issue is no longer dangling out there. I also am further convinced that our president is a narcissistic jerk of the highest order. He could have released this thing long ago. That would have been the decent thing to do. His own people created confusion by conflating the colb with the actual bc. It was his responsibility to clear things up.
But selfish political gain kept him from doing that. Leaving the confusion to fester had too big of an upside. Now he gets to knock down his opponents and critics like bowling pins, the ones who didn’t publically disavow birthers and birtherism anyway. He has also innoculated himself against further investigation into the rest of his missing background — his college records, etc.
It was a sly political move but cynical to the extreme. It shows how flimsy the notion that he’s some kind of “uniter” is. He was fully willing to drag the country through this crap to score some easy points.
I guess BO was getting worried that the polls were turning against him.
This might be nothing — and I haven’t read through the entire thread to see if it has already been mentioned — but the thing that gets me when I look at that birth certificate is simply how darn clean it is. The background pattern is perfect, bright green, no fading, no marks, no signs of aging at all. It looks like it was produced yesterday, not like something that has existed since 1961.
Is my thinking correct on that?

In addition, Zero’s BC# and “date filed” are still not compatible with other birth certificates found during this tight time frame.
Some background:
Zero’s online short form bc# was compared to the Nordyke twins, HI gals born at same time period, we have their long forms.
10641 is the serial number on Barak Obama’s certificate.
10637 is the serial number of a woman, Susan Nordyke, born one day LATER than Obama, but at the SAME hospital, her twin sister’s is 10638
Zero’s BC numbered on Aug 8, should have a lower number than one numbered on Aug 11.
This is the same problem on Zero’s short form image he put up early 2008.
There is still no note of the 2006 amendment that the HDOH indirectly confirmed was made to the birth record either.
PLEASE EXPLAIN the forgery.

Finally, Zero, addressing the White House press corps, said today [about his previously shown short form images online]:
“We posted the certificate that is given by the state of Hawaii on the Internet for everybody to see. People have provided affidavits that they in fact have seen this birth certificate…..”

I give up, some people are beyond comprehending a conversation about 2 hospitals that became under one ownership & Queen’s was not involved in that conversation.

Lynch made it clear that NBC = NBS, and thus the meaning of NBS carried over into NBC. Natural born citizen wasn’t a phrase made up for the Constitution. It was already being used, with its meaning identical to NBS.
Collins doesn’t have to like it, but the phrase the Founders put into the Constitution had a legal meaning, and it had one that the ratifying states knew as matching the English NBS.
And some years after the Collins article was written, the US Supreme Court agreed with Lynch, not Collins. Not surprising, since at no time did the US adopt Collin’s belief that citizenship follows paternity.
