If they do end up listing the Dunes Sagebrush Lizard on the endangered species list, they could end up shutting down thousands of oil wells. Does anyone really think Obama cares whether or not the government will lose the tax revenue that will not be collected if the well cease to operate?

Personally, I think the Muslim in the White House would love to have both the oil wells shut down, and the loss of tax revenue, because he hates Texas as much if not more than he hates capitalism.

From the moment Richard Nixon created the EPA in 1970,

Worst Republican President in history. I don’t care how “conservative” FREEPERS say he was. You don’t create a big government agency and claim conservatism. Same goes for President Bush and that ridiculous Homeland Security. Big Government Republicans. I actively campaigned and proudly voted for RMN in 1960 since I was favorably impressed by his anti-Communism, notably his exposure of Alger Hiss. He was Ike's attack dog while VP and I still think he would have been superb in 1960.

Then after going 100% for Barry Goldwater even more zealously than I did for RMN four years prior, I saw that the 1968 Nixon had moved to the mushy middle and became a full-fledged RINO. It was then that I supported the ticket with the great General Curtis Emerson LeMay on board that year. Had this true American hero assumed office, Vietnam would have been another victory and Red China would have been neutralized. (IMHO).

The Richard Nixon that served as POTUS inhabited the same body as the candidate I backed in 1960. But he wasn't the same man. The Nixon I supported so many years ago would have never brought us wage and price controls, the abolition of the gold standard, the ABM treaty with the USSR, a relationship with Red China that's costing us dearly now and the horror of the EPA. He became an establishment man and left his anti-Communism and Conservatism by the wayside.

Blame the industry for price gouging.

It seems like the old policies of deception are beginning to clank like an old rundown machine.

There hardly needs to be even a tip of the hat to plausibility anymore. It’s almost as if it’s become a joke to offer ridiculous excuses to shut us down.

It must be obvious by now to anyone who even takes a cursory glance that the bipartisan intent is to ruin this country.
