Fate Of Accused Fort Hood Gunman Rests With New Post Commander
The decision on how to handle the court martial for accused Fort Hood killer Maj. Nidal Hasan falls to the post’s new commander.
FORT HOOD (April 22, 2011) - Fort Hood has a new commanding general and he’ll have a major decision facing him from the start.
Lt. Gen. Donald Campbell took command of the Texas Army post at a ceremony Thursday.

With Cone's departure, now Campbell will decide whether Maj. Nidal Hasan will be court-martialed and face the death penalty in the 2009 shootings at Fort Hood.
Two Army colonels have already made that recommendation.
The final decision must be made by a commanding general.
Last month Cone granted a request by Hasan's attorney to delay proceedings until Campbell's arrival.
Hasan, an Army psychiatrist, is charged with 13 counts of premeditated murder and 32 counts of attempted premeditated murder.

Why not just handle it like the ones before where a member of the military committed premeditated murder?
What is different except that this was more heinous than any previous incidents?
Or is the decision required based on the fact that Hasan is a muslim or because obama is a muslim or both?

MG Campbell was my battalion XO when I was a new platoon leader at Ft. Riley. I would trust him to make the right decision.
My initial response when this first happened was also “death penalty”, but now I would like to see him sentenced to life in prison. Recall that he cannot walk because he was taken down during his mohammedan attack by the bullets from a girl’s gun. I rather like the idea of his waking up every morning knowing what his life is like since being stopped in the act by a girl.

I'd volunteer in a heartbeat. I'm not that good of shot, but I think I might hit him in a vital spot eventually.
That's my thinking, too. Life in solitary in a federal max prison, one hour a day of human contact during exercise. That would be a big, strong, FEMALE guard with a bad attitude pushing him in his wheelchair.
I would remodel his cell with a sound system that only played American military marches 24x7. The ceiling would have a large illuminated picture of the two cops receiving their awards for bagging him. There would also be a gallery behind bulletproof glass to display an illuminated American flag, and videos of his comrades being wasted by American troops. Also, a sign that said "Mecca" that would change location during each exercise period, so he'd never know where Mecca really was.
Since the American taxpayer will have to spend a lot of money to keep this POS alive for a long life, include live webcam feed of him, so at least we see that we're getting our money's worth. I have many more plans to mess with his mind that does not involve even touching him that he would wish he was killed outright during his murder spree.

Not me! Our country is bankrupt. Why should taxpayer's foot the bill to keep this pos alive. We have already spent enough on him, I'm sure. He should have been shot dead on the spot. Since that didn't happen, try him for treason and hang him.
Maj. Hassan chased down an obviously pregnant soldier and killed both her and the baby. She was getting ready to go on maternity leave. The fact that he also killed this pregnant soldier has been ignored by the liberal media. However, it was covered in Texas newspapers. He chased down the other soldiers as well. The death penalty is what he deserves. Why should be pay high cost medical bills to take care of him the rest of his life.

Just tie this POS Muslim, US TRAITOR, to a stake a few hundred feet away and let the remaining guys (all US military) on the series “Top Shot” use him as as target in one of their competitions!
He and others like him are one of the reasons that American citizens are becoming progressively more suspicious of people of Muslim background.

Yeah, in the real world, Pharoah has probably kicked his name to the top of the list for receiving some kind of breakthrough surgery to restore his ability to walk.
In my scenario, Hassan would have not contact with other prisoners, so he would not have a chance to convert anyone.
Can we also limit his meals to Spam, pasta salad, and broccoli?
