Thanks for the ping. What do you think about these Denver pictures? Jill Biden looks very fit and trim, but Michelle’s pants with the tapered leg look like something you’d wear when you work in the yard. Seems like we’ve seen her wear these before and they do not flatter her at all.
On some of those photos they’re photoshopping her, there’s no way her body shape could change so drastically from dress to dress. I agree that some of the colors are outstanding on her, many are not. She dresses like a 20-something-year-old most of the time.
Actually, what struck me was HOW MANY outfits there were. That is only over 2 years, and there were no repeats. Glad the books are selling well.
Oh come on, you wouldn’t get zotted for such a thing.
At times, Michelle looks okay. All of us, fat to thin to very fat to very thin, look better if attired properly.
It’s the media and their adoration of this so-called fashion icon, a very unworthy fashion icon, that causes so many of us to go to extremes on the other side. If the lies and silliness about Michelle’s fashion would stop maybe more of us would give her a nod or two should it be warranted. As it stands now, why bother? The media sucks up to her enough for all of us.
First, Michelle is not a little woman. She’s tall, a bit awkward of step, has the behind of an African-American woman, which is not necessarily a bad thing in that’s what she is. But let’s not pretend she’s Twiggy or anything.
People of all types can be dressed properly and on occasion, I’ve seen Michelle look very nice.
She really ought to lose the boob belt thing she’s so obsessed with. Yeah, sure, fashionistas recommend moving the waist line up to a smaller part of the body, which is in most cases below the boob. If the waist line is moved iin such a manner, say like in a dress specifically designed with a high waist, it can look good. There is also required a jacket of some sort to kind of disguise the high waist belt.
Michelle’s habit of just slapping on a belt, buckling it below the boob line, often looks just plain silly, like a bigger woman trying to convince us her waist line is this little and teeny-tiny. That picture of her with that geometric designed sweater that someone said looked like right out of the Salvation Army....goodness, she should have just left the belt off for God’s sake. Instead she’s got this big macho looking belt thing all obvious below her boobs...if nothing else, a smaller, less inyourface belt maybe.
Also, her hair. I’ve seen Michelle with hair that looked very nice. It’s when she does that thing pulling it back so severely that she looks like an escapee from the ghetto. I know it’s easier to do it this way at times but go with me here, she’s the First Lady. Even that nutjob from Texas always wears a headpiece of some kind. It might be extra work to be fixing her hair all the time but that pull back just looks bad, nowhere near elegant or sophisticated.
She’s no fashion icon, however, she does not have good taste, she’s not sophisticated...us boobs can see right through this media hype and the more they say it, the more we mock.
We are all most ordinary females like Michelle but the NY Times is not showing pics of our uglier outfits while calling us splendid fashionistas.

Interesting. I looked and you may be right. I think Michelle is ashamed of her height. She always wears flats and sometimes stands with her legs apart to look shorter. I think someone moved her up a step so the height difference is less obvious.
No wonder Zero wants to be more like Europe.
