Donald Trump wasn't laughing when funnyman Jerry Seinfeld canceled an upcoming appearance at a benefit for his son's Eric Trump Foundation.
Seinfeld pulled out of the Sept. 13 event benefiting the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital because he disagrees with The Donald's questioning of Barack Obama's citizenship, his reps said.

There were LOTS of Lebanese Christians. One of my first roommates was Lebanese Catholic, same as Danny Thomas IIRC.

Re: Seinfeld. This is how “Never Again” happens again.
Danny was a struggling stand-up comedian in the early 50's and he prayed to St. Jude, (in the Catholic Church he is the patron saint of desperate cases and lost causes) for help to get a break and in turn would donate his efforts to good. St Jude's Hospital is the response to the saint's help.
Danny was a good religious man, I believe a Maronite Catholic, and I had the opportunity to see his live show back in the 1960's. He was very funny and at the end of the show very uplifting having everyone light their lighters (with the fire marshal's permission), in a show of hope.
Most Americans read at that level.
He will never make it in the world writing in such a manner. /sarc

At my age, my memory is rather poor, but I was born and
raised in Memphis, which is world known for its medical center. I have been away from there since 2005.
My brother graduated from UT med school, located in the medical district.
I remember when Thomas decided to fund his hospital in Memphis, specializing in Leukemia.
It has become world renowned.
Marlo Thomas would shut the event down if that ever happened.

The Trump/Seinfeld flaps is a small indication of what is happening across the nation. The lines between the Marxists and the free market constitutionalists are being drawn.
The scales fell from my eyes during the 2000 Florida recount. It was then that I realized that Democrats were hard core communists and useful idiots who would do **anything** to gain power.
I no longer have friends that are any flavor of Marxist. They are either too evil or too stupid to be a friend.

I just did a big document dump on Obama to CUBA today and just about wore out the Google translator in the process (I sure as hell wasn’t going to translate all that stuff myself!)
