Assistant Attorney General JoAnne Kloppenburg will announce at 4 p.m. whether she will seek a recount in the April 5 election for the state Supreme Court.
The official tally shows Kloppenburg lost to Justice David Prosser by 7,316 votes - less than 0.5% of the 1.5 million votes cast.
She is to make the announcement in Warner Park on the north side of Madison.
I'm figuring she is on for the recount --- not for the win, but to keep the fires burning for the union.
There is no downside to making the state pay millions for a recount for them. There is only the perception that something was wrong with the vote.
Hopefully this is the last time we have to hear Kloppy speak and she’ll be off the stage for awhile.
The only reason she has waited this long is to see whether or not she can get 8000 “votes” manufactured from illegals, car trunks, zombies and family pets.
Her announcement this afternoon isn’t whether or not she’ll contest the vote, but rather an announcement that she can get enough fraudulent ballots to overturn Prosser’s victory. The unions WILL NOT LET THIS DIE, because the future of union political power in America rests on whomever wins.
Something about the way Kloppie speaks reminds me of Mouth Click Anita Dunn.
Is this the one who stepped up before the cameras to declare herself the winner when she thought she was up by 204 votes? And then glared daggers at a reporter who had the temerity to suggest that 204 votes might be considered a “narrow margin of victory?”
Yeah, her 15 minutes are fame are all used up. Har-har-har!
I think a lot of conservatives and independents in Wisconsin will notice how much it’s costing them to fund the recount. Of course, it will also give the Democrats a chance to “find” a lot of “uncounted” ballots, though I hope they can’t manufacture enough to change the outcome.
Precisely.
I’m listening to Rush right now and he was playing clips of Debbie Wasserman skank where she was talking about Republicans steal elections and Republican S.O.S. are in on it etc etc. Unbelievable...everything she said is exactly what the marxist/dims do every election. But there will be idiots out there that will get whipped up into a frenzy, because they will be convinced they’ve been ‘disenfranchised’.
Up is down, down is up.

Yes, that’s the one.
So this is the gal who was all fired up to claim the victory based upon an AP report of a 200 vote margin - but is unwilling to concede after the actual results show a 7,000 vote lead for her opponent - anyone willing to give her the benefit of the doubt and think she will be a good sport about this?
They’re waiting for the dead voters to rise up...............
7000 votes is a lot of votes to manufacture
Of course she’ll ask for a recount: What does she have to lose? The taxpayers foot the bill for the recount, she still has a State job, and a new tally will keep the Lefty wankers raving for months to come. It’s the trifecta!
My bet is that she accepts defeat and they focus on the upcoming recall elections.
Just my (very) humble opinion.
Oh absolutely she will go for the recount. It’s the progressive way. Raise hell and cause trouble every chance you get. Fight the Republicans at every turn. A tactic the Republicans would be well advised to adopt.
I think she’ll take what I’ll refer to as “the Democratic high road,” and announce that she is asking for a statewide recount. No mention of her previous stance - that’s down the rabbit hole. She may even pontificate about the wisdom of allowing recalls, as a matter of law; and that the stakes in this race are so high, that she cannot forgo the statutory “double check” in good conscience.
No recount has resulted in more than a couple hundred votes. She’s toast and knows it. As said elsewhere though, she’ll likely serve the union masters by demanding a recount and fueling the ‘GOP steals another election’ meme. Go ahead, hag. You and the pigs from the public unions have educated many, many voters to your true colors and that of the democrat party. Many thanks, by the way.
