Stanley Ann Dunham, better known as President Barack Obama's mother, passed away in 1995 before seeing her son become the most powerful man in the world.
In this weekend's New York Times Magazine, Dunham gets a long profile adapted from Janny Scott's forthcoming book, A Singular Woman: The Untold Story of Barack Obama’s Mother.
The article paints a portrait of a complex woman who traveled to Indonesia with her second husband, battled the customs while raising her son and new daughter, and eventually returned to Hawaii.
As Scott writes, "To describe Dunham as a white woman from Kansas turns out to be about as illuminating as describing her son as a politician who likes golf."
The President described his mother as "single constant in my life."

Early in the last presidential campaign, in August, 2008, Bill Clinton was asked if he thought Obama was qualified to be president.
Clinton's rather odd, cryptic reply:
"The constitution sets qualification for the president. And then the people decide who they think would be the better president."
Bill Clinton made this reference to the Constitution shortly after America's latest fad, the "community organizer" from Chicago, popped up out of nowhere and stole his wife's destiny by winning, in rather sleazy fashion, the Democrat nomination for President.
It has been my opinion since that time that the Clintons know something, and that it was they who quite deliberately fanned the flames of controversy over Obama's birth. Remember, it was a prominent Hillary Clinton supporter, Philadelphia lawyer Philip Berg, who launched *the first* Obama eligibility lawsuit. That lawsuit was filed in August of 2008, shortly after Bill Clinton made the curious reference to the Constitution when asked if he thought Obama was qualified to be President. Coincidental timing? Sure it was.

She hardly seems a social climber or a “gold digger” when she doesn’t seem to have married for wealth or profited much (if at all) by her marriages to two different men from third world nations.
I don’t think she got half her Indonesian husbands assets upon divorce - for example - and she ended her life without any assets.
This clarifies that indeed, Obama had servants when he was a kid. There were two female servants and a cook and a house boy.
And it shows....he can't do a damn thing....

You are 100% spot on. Whatever there is to know. Those 2 know it. They are constrained by their Party since it is the source of their wealth and the keeper of their own secrets no doubt. When the party cast it's lot with Barry they were forced to grudgingly fall into line.

I am sure the Clintons didn’t only inspect Republican’s FBI files, they know all about Obama.
Why didn’t they go after him more forcibly?
They tried, remember the blowback they got when they floated the info that O might have dealt drugs?
They were stymied by the media, imho.
The Clintons are constrained by the same cabal that allowed them and Obama to get the POTUSA and also go along with Bush1 and Bush 2 towards their new world order. The cabal is much more than Chicago and Soros even the Rockerfellers.
