The new head of the Democratic National Committee (DNC) is pushing for screenings of all gun purchases. Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz said the current law, which allows private firearm sales without background checks, is "outrageous." The Florida Democrat is sponsoring a soon-to-be-released proposal extending the screening requirements to all gun purchases, commercial or private. "It is outrageous that gun buyers evade the background check system every day, even in broad daylight," Wasserman Schultz said Monday at a gun reform rally in Miami sponsored by Mayors Against Illegal Guns.

AMEN! Mrs. BCC at first wanted to keep her last name when we decided to marry, so I told her “Fine, we’ll just not marry.” Guess whose last name she has.
I’ll agree to her proposal ONLY if we apply the exact same standards to voting. Every voter at every vote MUST complete a 4473 style document and be FBI background checked and approved.
This will eliminate a great deal of voter fraud and at the cost of a few moments delay. No one can object to this unless they support voter fraud and illegal activity.
After all, if it’s good enough for the fundemental right to own a gun, it’s good enough for the fundemental right to vote.
