Palin rallies Madison Tea Party crowd (a crowd of thousands)
Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel ^ | 4/16/11 | Tom Kertscher

Madison — Speaking to a tea party rally ringed by protesters outside the state Capitol, Sarah Palin defended Gov. Scott Walker's stance against public employee unions and then took aim at both the national Republican Party and President Barack Obama.

The former Alaska governor and Republican vice presidential nominee addressed a crowd of thousands that was whipped by sleet and near-freezing temperatures nearly one month into spring.

I’m not a Palin supporter by any means, but I will say this - I have respect for Sarah even though I hope she does not run for President.
I have absolutely no respect for Trump.

OK...got it.

Now we know who you don't like or have any respect for.

Tell us....who DO you like...and why.

More good news from Wisconsin. The Recall Wirch group has collected enough signatures for a recall vote.

exinnj, et al... I submitted an article with this content, but in case it doesn’t get posted I thought I would also reply here. I experienced something very similar at the Boston event yesterday. We had Tim Pawlenty, who doesn’t really excite me ... but the thing that was big was the behavior of the “counter-protesters”... similar to as you described in your report from Madison. I’ve been a lurker on FR for nearly 12 years, and it is my primary source. I haven’t posted on FR, but it’s time (for me). I attended all Boston TEA Party rallies in ‘09, ‘10, and yesterday.

Here is my VIDEO report (I didn’t speak to the camera.. just observed with it) ... and you will get to see some of the speeches (sortof) ... you’ll see what I mean

2011 Boston TEA Party Rally Disrupted by Union Thugs (illegally?) enabled by Boston Police (Parts 1,2,3)

Just as the 2011 Boston TEA Party rally was beginning, a group of Public Sector Union thugs marched in, planted themselves directly in front of the podium and blocked the speakers. They chanted offensive slogans on the 3 megaphones they had brought and continued to do so for the entire 2 hours! The Boston Police, also Public Sector Union members, came in and stood in front of them. The police did not ask the disruptors to leave, even after Michael Graham on the bandstand directly asked them to leave. We had a permit to have the rally at that location and the police enabled these people to disrupt our rally for the entire time. Do you think the Boston Police would allow us to stand in force directly in front of a Union rally speaker and shout offensive slogans and engage in name calling for the ENTIRE RALLY? They did NOT have the permit to assemble at that location on the common, we did. What do you think?

The media is reporting this as if nothing happened. The Police swept the bandstand with a K-9 unit before we began. Looks like the unions (police AND protesters) were trying to start and/or find some trouble for us. They didn’t get it. We were successful in avoiding any bad press, they were unsuccessful. Had they been, the media and the Boston Police would have been all over us like flies on you know what. The press, as usual, did NOT report the facts honestly. Treating us like crap as usual.

Hope so. ‘Cause outside FR I don’t exactly see a huge wave of conservatives lining up to support her. Shoot even my Dad has said he’s tired of her “mama grizzlies” routine.

Well, that’s a little over-the-top for me. But the groundswell continues. Trump is doing his part and Gov. Palin is doing her part and we’re all in this together.

Recall Obama's speech with the faux-Greek columns where Sarah called him out on them?

And the signs countering Obama "I don't need a Savior"?

I like needling libs and atheists. God knows they engage in vile PERSONAL attacks on us.

Sarah is human, like the rest of us: but she is fanatically pro-American, pro-life (as proven by Trig), pro-defense, pro-2nd-Amendment, pro-"drill here drill now" and is calling out the union LEADERSHIP, not the rank-and-file.

And a fiscal conservative; and tough-as-nails.

*And* she has the wisdom to know her limitations, unlike a certain community organizer; and as she knows America as a force for good, she will work to promote American interests and prestige worldwide.

Her speeches have substance and sound, workable policy ideas behind them.

Cheers!

I love that she started out her speech telling the audience she stands in "solidarity" with them.

That must've burst a few veins in the foreheads of the left-wing wacko counter-protestors.

I don’t think Trump would run in earnest. If he becomes President he has to put his business in a blind trust. I can’t see any way that Trump will hand his empire over to somebody else.

Moreover, can you imagine the lawsuits the Democrats will file if Trump becomes president?

Trump sucks. Seriously. I can’t stand him. He is not much more trustworthy than Obama.

GOP will win their 60 seat Senate majority in 2014. That is why we have to make sure Republicans win the Presidency in 2012.

Tell your husband George Soros is a businessman.
