Remember all the ads and comments depicting GWB as a chimp?

The problem is that this woman was probably too naive to realize that any black person who sees a monkey immediately thinks the monkey refers to black people ... although there is absolutely no reason to think this. Maybe it’s in the eye of the beholder, and if you’re race-obssessed, you see racism everywhere.

Apparently, we are no longer allowed to depict monkeys in any context (I read that even Curious George was now considered racist). When I saw this picture, I thought they were suggesting that Obama was the “Missing Link” because he claims to come from African parentage but nobody knows anything about him.

I got the exact same email - circulating amongst those that oppose Obama. But it was just plain STUPID of an Official member of O.C.’s Republican Party to send it on.
