The left has used stop signs a lot in demonstrations. A stop sign shaped sign with “stop the union thugs” or a host of other simliar themes.

Please consider coming even if you are in another state. The unions will turn out thousands of leftists. We need every person you can send. Fight and win this battle in Wisconsin and you likely won’t have to fight this in your home state.

If you get close enough, tell Sarah we need her in Florida!! We have some so-called republicans caving in to the unions!!

I’ll tell her. I’m sure she knows she’ll be busier than ever, no matter what she decides for herself.

My son just decided to decline a scholarship to attend college at the University of Wisconsin -- Madison.
Beautiful school, excellent facilities, but he didn't connect with the atmosphere.
He has to make a final decision among his last two choices in the next two weeks.
Cheers!

Tell him to go for it. It is survivable and you can learn alot if you know how to sort the useful information from the crap some of the professors will dish up.

Friday night in OK and then Saturday in WI? I can’t imagine what her schedule for the next 1.5 years will be like.

OMG, she had better not walk through the streets..she might really get called horrible names and get spat on....
...a real nasty scene, unlike a fake one someone made up recently.

If I recall correctly, some times she hit up to four cities a day during the 2008 campaign.
She just went from Alaska to India to Israel and back in just a few days. She’s an amazingly tough, strong and determined woman. There’s a lot to like here.

I have to work then, so I won’t be able to go, but Mom’s thinking of going.
(I have this thing about crowds, so it’s probably better that I’m not going.)

If you get the time, when you get home, interview your mom, and post a thread with her impressions...even better if you post some pics.....first hand on the ground reporting is what we need..

The Madison fire fighters union is planning on disrupting the rally. Their web site http://www.local311.org/ says to bring “cowbells, dinner bells, doorbells, jingle bells, you name it, and let’s ring in Wisconsin’s independence from corporate rule” It always warms the heart to see public employees disrupt the free speech of taxpayers. Bring lots of cameras to record the union thugs.

Any Wisconsin FReepers willing to Ustream the event for the rest of us?
