TRUMP
Emphasizing that he cherish[es] our seniors, The Donald said in an interview that Republicans are on a risky ledge by backing a plan that could be perceived as hurting older Americans. Id have to study the plan, Trump said in an interview on CNN. I will tell you, I think it's very dangerous for the Republicans to go on this ledge, because I, for one, would have to be very, very careful.
I have a lot of respect for Paul Ryan, but what is happening is the Republicans are going way, way, way far out on the ledge, he said. .

BTW, I love what he’s doing WRT Obama, but I would never vote for him.
If Trump did file for bankruptcy, then he knows it is a business tool and as such maybe would have forced some companies into bankruptcy instead of bailing them all out!
Announcing his teaming up with "moderate" Hillary in 3...2...1...
I’m more interested in where they hold on this issue than the birther issue. Trump gets conservatives excited but not on the issues that matter.
Of course he is worried about the political risk. He has zero experience in political issues.
Not only is Trump a NE RINO like Rudy, but looks like he's also going with the 'win Florida' strategy. That worked out real well for NY pal, Rudy, didn't it?
The fact is, the Ryan proposal isn't enough. It's a start. And Donald pulls a left turn on it.
And General Lucas thought the Americans were facing a trap when they landed at Anzio without opposition, thus failing to attack. General Obama and the Democrats have no plan, only smoke grenades and media propaganda. General Ryan, don't give them time to organize, ATTACK ATTACK ATTACK.
Sarah is awesome...glad she’s getting some time OUT of the spotlight...and of course, she’s right and once again, just speaks common sense.
It’s so simple-and kind.

you think good republican strategy is to let a far left marxist lead on anything? do you love your country?
Let’s see...Paul Ryan on one hand, Donald Trump in the other - my choice, Ryan. A no-brainer.
Trump serves as a good agitator in framing a part of the argument and asking the questions the media never did (or a good portion of the American Public for that matter). That will take on a life of its own and get people’s minds open to questioning the Poser in chief.
Ryan is the first one in Congress that went toe to toe with the Poser on POLICY, in front of cameras and stumped him. He’s the first one in Congress to tell the poser he’s wrong. He never rolled over and played dead. He’s done his homework, crafted real ideas and is taking the poser head on. I’d love to see him run. If not President, at least make him Treasury Sec., Economic advisor, or failing that, chairman of the House Ways and Means. He has a future, Trump, not so much. Trump has balls, though, I’ll give him that. And to the extent that he opens the public eye to the poser/emperor with no clothes, he’s served his purpose. But I don’t want him in the big chair.
Big guy from New York, little guy with big ears from Texas, billionaires, third party, lather, rinse, repeat. Deja Vu all over again.
I do not think from his comment that Trump even read Ryan’s budget proposal. If he did, he would know the medicare reforms do not apply to today’s seniors or anyone older than 55.He is falling into the same trap that many Republicans may fall by arguing against the Democrat’s false premise that it affects today’s seniors. The more Republicans do this, the more they ennable the Dems to recruit the senior lobby against them.
Same here. He's a billionaire liberal in a conservative suit. Trump wouldn't get my vote for soils commissioner, much less President. Pay attention, folks... Trump is paying lip service against all that he's on record for standing for.
Trump is trying out the game of political chameleon. To those with open eyes it's not working.
hhhmmmm....his budget is 4% better than Obama’s...adding over a trillion to the debt next year alone...with no cuts in obama’s overall stimulus spending...not real conservative....
Trump is a billionaire in search of a hobby. I guess coin collecting won’t cut it, eh?
This is exactly the talk I keep hearing from FR seniors who want the absolute status quo on entitlements (just as Democrats do) and from Trump it is pandering, pure and simple.
We could eliminate all non-defense spending...every penny... and by 2040 Medicare/Soc Sec/Medicaid will still bankrupt the country.
Now, if you want to appeal to those voters whose view is "Don't touch the entitlements until after I'm dead, let my grandkids bear the burden", then I agree you should say what comb-over boy is saying.
The bizarre thing is that the Medicare they are defending is actually not a very satisfactory program. The users pay for it all of their working lives before they ever get a chance to use it, you still pay for it with deductions from your SS when you qualify for it, the “gap” is unpredictable and large, and as Ryan (or someone commenting on his plan) pointed out, it’s the only “insurance” plan where you have to buy another insurance plan to cover it.
So you’d think that alone would make people want to reevaluate it. It probably works well only for people who also receive Medicaid or some other form of state medical assistance, but I can’t believe that applies to most seniors.
The guy is a fraud. He is masquerading as a Christian now, just like Obama is.
Known of them get it.
When the shit hits the fan they'll all say we never saw it coming and that includes Ryan...
