Politicians often claim they don't pay much attention to polls, especially ones taken several months before the first voters head to caucuses and primaries.
Then there's Donald Trump.
Less than two hours after CNN released a poll Tuesday showing Trump tied for the lead among potential 2012 Republican presidential candidates, the billionaire developer and reality TV star wanted to make sure a reporter interviewing him had seen it.
Trump also directed an employee to e-mail the reporter fresh ratings numbers showing that the latest episode of his Celebrity Apprentice show on NBC had clobbered CSI: NY on Sunday night.
And Trump reminded his interviewer that a recent Wall Street Journal poll showed him as the top presidential pick among tea party voters.
"I wasn't that surprised," Trump said of the tea party poll. "Because my values are very similar. They're hard-working people. They're people that don't like to be taken advantage of by other countries."

I’m guessing he’s being promised good fortune by banking interests who want to make sure they don’t have to buy off a new President after only 4 years now that their buy Obama is already bought and compromised.
When Perot did this for Clinton, it took the good simple folks in the Perot Party several years to figure out they had been dupes.
In the internet age, I wonder if Trump can keep this ruse up until July 4th weekend?
I know how to make this “trojan horse” go away.

When Boehner does his job and holds hearings on Obama’s eligibility just like the congressional hearings demanded to confirm McCain’s eligibility (because he was born on a US military base in Panama) and they demand that Obama disclose all of his records including the longform.
Once Obama has proven his eligibility, the “Birthers” will be satisfied and the air will be sucked out of Trumps balloon. Simple as that. Sign the petition!

Trump is smart.
Trump once said, “owe the bank a million, the bank owns you. Own the bank a Billion, you own the bank.”
At this point it is clear that Trump is being used as a pawn bys someone who has their hooks in to him.
It’s not clear who that party or parties are, I’m guessing it’s probably his CRE creditors as he seems to be so severely underwater as to be hopelessly bk.
He could simply have agreed to advocate for the CRE/REIT/CRE abnking sector and be given some leeway in his existing debt obligations.
THe US can not suffer under a Presidential candidate with billions of US Dollar equivalent debt from banks and creditors the world over on RE investments located throughout the world, almost all of which are in very poor financial condition.
Sounds like a conspiracy theory
