Birthers should put their challenges about President Barack Obama’s origins “to bed,” his half-sister says.
The continuing debate over whether he was born in the United States or Kenya, Indonesia or elsewhere is “unfortunate,” Maya Soetoro-Ng said in an interview with CNN set to air Tuesday night. “He was born in Hawaii, there is a tremendous amount of proof that has already been presented.”

“I think it’s a shame and I think that my brother should definitely be president for a second term,” she said. “And that’s really all I have to say about it.”

With businessman/would be GOP presidential hopeful Donald Trump resurrecting the erroneous birther conspiracy theory in particularly fact-challenged ways, the president’s half-sister was asked about the lie that will not die. We took a look this morning on Good Morning America at the latest and why GOP officials are concerned about the myth’s persistence:

So now we have Indonesian citizens telling us who our president should be.
WTF?
Did he change it when he converted to Islam, as is the Islamic custom?
He was given the name Barry Soetoro and never changed it .... so he’s occupying the WH as an imposter
Have any grandchildren of his putative father’s Kenyan wives checked in lately? What does that half-brother who lives in a shack think?
All these “news stories” could be headlined, “Zero’s relatives are defensive when questions are asked about his past.”
He changed it when he was applying for admission to college and for scholarships as a “foreign student”.
If he was born in Hawaii, how come no one seems to agree on which hospital that he was born at?
Obama’s people are dragging out everything but the birth certificate.
That sounds like fraud!
One thing you’ll find with all elitists is that they viscerally believe that the rules shouldn’t apply to themselves because they are so “special”.

Indonesia? Has a single person made that accusation? Or was it just thrown in to try to make those who question Obama's nativity story look like fools? The only Indonesia connection is whether Lolo Soetoro's adoption of Obama changed his citizenship status.
No, the REAL SHAME is that a guy with no significant accomplishment other than being racially mixed can go through life living and promoting this lie and people buying into it.
