Nissan Motor Co has received complaints from owners that its Leaf electric car on occasion fails to start, posing a potential setback for the automaker's goal of promoting zero-emission vehicles.
Japan's No.2 automaker said on Monday it was looking into the exact cause, which it traced back to the Leaf's air-conditioning unit. Nissan is investigating whether the glitch was in a certain component or the programing, spokesman Toshitake Inoshita said.

They market a zero-emission product.
Owners want to actually start the thing, thus defeating the marketing claim?
No wonder why they are so efficent, they don’t run. ;-)
Check to be sure it’s plugged in.
The ultimate Green Automobile.
Check to be sure its plugged in.
But then there would be emissions at the other end of the cord!
Well, if it don’t start it’s ZERO EMISSION!................
Dead battery?
“Hmmmm... we think it’s an electrical problem.... batteries can’t hold a charge...”
This is from an article about jay Lenos 100 year old electric car. It looks like they made them better back then. They havent advanced much in the technology.
Itll go for about four or five hours on a single charge, at about 20 to 25 miles an hour. Its range is about 110 miles, just about what most electric cars made these days will do. So we really havent come very far in a hundred years.

Au contraire, mon frere!
An automobile that won’t start is about as zero-emission as you can get!
Just think how clean ‘n green we could be if everyone’s cars wouldn’t start! :-)
