Donald Trump fires back after White House aide declares that he has 'zero chance' to be President

The White House stopped just short of dismissing Donald Trump as a clown Sunday - calling him a "sideshow" act with "zero chance" of becoming president.

SNIP

Trump countered that he represents Obama's biggest nightmare in the 2012 race and that the White house is running scared.

"I know for a fact that I am the only candidate they are concerned with," Trump told The Daily News. "They are very concerned because I am challenging him as to whether or not he was born in this country where there is a real doubt."

"He should focus on properly dealing with the Chinese, the Saudis and all of the other nations that are ripping off the United States instead of making up quotes about Donald Trump," the "Apprentice" host blustered on. "Barack Obama has done a terrible job as president."

While Trump is not viewed as having a real chance at winning the presidency, experts say his remarks cut to the core of what irks the White House the most, which explains the hostility behind Plouffe's diss.

"There is no issue that irritates the White House more than the birther issue," said Larry Sabato, director of the University of Virginia's Center for Politics.

"They view it as a symbol for those who refuse to acknowledge Obama as a legitimate president," he said. "The fact that someone as prominent as Trump is bringing this up is a source of real frustration."

Sabato predicted that despite the noise Trump is making, he would soon fade away.

All they have to do is come clean with the birth certificate and it will all go away.

Easy as pie.

Not necessarily the first verb that comes to mind in this situation...

“The Donald” needs to post a $10 million reward for copies of the Hawaii documents and “the zero’s” college records including applications for admission. Having 10 big ones in an offshore account waiting would make the jail time the provider will recieve seem like a walk in the park. For the right price, the documents will appear....red

Not so fast...

After the BC, we’d like some other matters cleaned up; matters that we might not have been concerned with if he hadn’t been so secretive on the BC...

Scholarship applications (ie, citizenship on the apps),
transcripts & diplomas,
SSNs, passports, etc.

This guy is a spook - he simply doesn’t exist on paper.

It would seem to me that once Trump’s TV show has ended (June, I think), should he declare himself a presidential candidate (eligible for SS protection & all), he will miraculously have that thing missing from this 3 year entire debacle so far:

STANDING

No candidate in 2008 who had actual standing, either Democrat or Republican challenged his eligibility. Once he “declares” he automatically has standing and that is when TSHTF.

When i look at Obama, i think of Jolie’s film Salt, a child that went away somewhere and a completely different child made to look and act the same came back in her place but as a sleeper agent.

Sabato predicted that despite the noise Trump is making, he would soon fade away.

He's been a prominent media figure for more than twenty years. Where's he going to fade away to?

You have to show proper ID if you pick up a simple parcel at the Post Office.

Why is asking an applicant for the most powerful job in the most powerful country for proper ID so outrageous?!

Is being President of the US less important than picking up a parcel?

Know what pleases me immensely about Donald Trump???

It's not just that he's "book learnin'" smart.
It's not just that he's "street smart".
It's not just that he's well spoken - erudite even.
It's not just that he's deeply business savy.
It's not just that he has a wealth of foreign experience.

It's not just that he has a host of other fine qualities....

It is mostly that he is not a politician!!!

He says what he means and he means what he says. He is not afraid to fight when he believes in something using whatever weapons he has at his command.
He does not spin or go out of his way to "play nice" with the opposition.

And that alone makes him a feared and troublesome "fact of life" for the stain and his handlers.

We will all be able to see how seriously the "White House" takes Mr. Trump by the amount of snide remarks that are made against him and who it is that has been assigned to make them.

Old Poofy was chosen this time around. He is - or was - the stain's campaign manager; but he'll be in direct conflict with the "black widow" (jenrette)for the 2012 fight.

Let's see if the attacks mount. If they do, then we can be pretty much assured that the "white house" views Mr. Trump as enemy number one.

Problem is: they don't know who they're attacking. Mr. Trump will not play by their rules. In fact, they are not even aware of the rules Mr. Trump plays by. They'll learn...but probably too late.

No doubt...this is going to be a fun battle to watch.

No way would I vote for Trump for President; he is not a conservative, and cannot keep the oath to protect and defend the Constitution.

However, I am LOVING this very effective attack of his on Obama. Sabato is right: the birth certificate issue irritates the Obamites because there is something to it. There is something deep and dark that threatens to destroy Obama and take the Democrat Party with him.

He may have been born in Hawaii with leis wrapped around his tuckus, but by the Immigration & Naturalization Act of 1952, he is NOT a natural-born citizen, because his father was not a citizen. Now, maybe that's the deep dark, or maybe it's something else, but whatever it is, the Obamites are deathly afraid of it getting out.

White House aide declares that he has 'zero chance' to be President

This is tantamount to saying Trump will be the next president, since "Zero" is the president. So, Trump has "Zero's chance" of being president...

Excellent point about a presidential candidate having standing to challenge Obama’s citizenship.

Sabato predicted that despite the noise Trump is making, he would soon fade away.

That is because Sabato, who studies politics for a living, is looking at this from a purely political perspective. Trump is approaching it from a PR or brand building perspective which bypasses the MSM and goes straight to the American public.

There are some parallels between what Trump is doing and Churchill's verbal war with Hitler prior to WWII. Both stepped into a vacuum created by opposing forces.
