MILWAUKIE, Ore. -- A Milwaukie teen says a man, later found to be a sex offender, tried to grab her while she was walking home from school Thursday evening.
Luckily, her father quickly came to the rescue and tackled the suspect, Fox12 News reports.
Police cited Douglas Quinn and are charging him with harassment.

She was able to get away and use her cell phone to call her dad. Thats when the two started driving around the area looking for the suspect on their own. A few blocks away, they spotted him.

The locals then took up the hunt but could not find the perp.
I sure miss Keith’s articles. When he passed on it was a sad day for shooters.
Dont have to be tough...just mad as hell...
I am glad the father got the guy, but the headline writer is an idiot. The father did not actually “save” the girl; she first got away from the perp herself.
In the 1920’s/30’s....the perp would be dead...far away in a forest....buried....where no one would miss him
Perhaps, they are waiting to violate his “sex offender “ status..they said, they are awaiting further charges. He may be worse off if he violates his mandates on his status as sex offender...Hopefully they throw this guy in prison..This young girl was a miracle. God only knows what could have happened to her.
Need to stay off until Sunday...
Good night, and may God bless you!
Sounds like it’s time for her to get “watermelon training”.
1) Take her to a knife shop to get “her” self defense knife. She needs to take her time and find one she is totally comfortable with, that feels good in her hand, and that she likes.
2) Lay out a tarp, and put a table on it with a full sized watermelon. Then tell her, “Using your knife, cut up that watermelon as fast as you can in one minute. Stab, slash, whatever you like.”
This is a fast way to get very comfortable with a particular knife and the idea of cutting up *something* with it. From that point on, it is her knife, and her self defense weapon. Reassure her that if it is lost or broken, she will get an identical replacement, no questions asked.
It’s good for the sex offender that he doesn’t live near me. In a society with activist judges sometimes we must become the activist.
Mr. T is not aging well.
